Summary: We had a lovely time in this small pleasant house. If you want to get away from the coast and head 30 minutes inland you'll find this lovely little peaceful village. The house has every thing there that you need and a good village stores 5 minutes away is handy. We love Corsica and we recommend a stay here. Thank you.

Summary: Lovely accommodation with everything we needed, in the mountains for peace and quiet, yet still close enough to Ajaccio for easy airport access. Only found one or two people that understood English, and our French was just as bad. Did not make it difficult though, with a few hand gestures, we managed fine. Village people are very friendly, and happy to see you. Was a breath of fresh air for digital detox, getting back to nature, and reconnecting with your partner. We did lots of walking/hiking while we were there, and the scenery is amazing (especially coming from flat East Anglia!). Just be aware though that with some very curvy roads, it generally takes twice as long to get anywhere than you think it will! Communication with Monique was great with quick responses, and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend a stay here, particularly if like us you have moved on from package/resort centre holidays and want to escape to a slower (even for a short time) pace of life, then this would be a perfect location.
