Positive: The breakfast was really good, the gym facilities where excellent and it was handy have a restaurant and Starbucks so close. The staff where very helpful and friendly

Negative: I did feel the room could of been cleaned to a better standard, lots of marks on the wall in the bathroom, there was stains I had to clean off the toilet seat before I could use it and dust in the side tables. However it didn’t offend me enough to complain about it.

Positive: The family rooms were a good size and for the most part were quiet.

Negative: The room was a bit tatty, crayon on the walls, sauce on the wallpaper, generally starting to look quite worn. Lift is too small and too slow when you’ve got impatient toddlers and lots of luggage, but this a common issue with all Villages Hotels. Lots of little extras - breakfast, car parking, gym access, all extra and quite expensive.

Summary: It was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
