In our holiday home, the natural environment and tranquility are the keys to pure wellness.
Located on top of a hill, where ancient olive trees overlook the valley and embrace the house. The view is spectacular.
Secluded location, 350 meters. from the small medieval village where you can visit the characteristic church of Sant'Egidio dating back to 1100 AD. c.
A short distance, about 6 km. there are restaurants, bars, supermarkets, banks, post office, pharmacy etc.
Good location to easily reach the most beautiful cities of Umbria: Assisi, Spello, Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi, Bevagna, Montefalco and many others. Rome 200Km - Florence 200 Km.
The property is completely fenced and has an automatic gate. The house is earthquake-proof, has 4 bedrooms (3 double and 1 twin / triple), 2 bathrooms with shower and washing machine and a living room with terrace with a view. Large outdoor spaces, garden, olive grove, veranda and the beautiful and new private swimming pool of 12x6 meters. with salt water.
In the vicinity it is possible to go horseback riding and trekking, mountain bike routes along the countryside paths, golf at a short distance, oil and local wine tasting.

Summary: The villa is in a wonderful position surrounded by olive trees, with beautiful views of surrounding countyside and Perugia in the distance. The villa is very comfortable and fully equipped, but the advertisement and pictures are a little misleading as the lower floor is not available, although the description of the rooms is accurate. The pool is wonderful and a very welcome asset. Stefania and her father Alviera were very helpful and welcoming. Alviera looks after the grounds and supplied us with salad and vegetables . Summary: The house is beautiful, confortable and the views are espectacular. Stefania is a very friendly person and always has good information from the region and good places for lunch. We love Umbria and his people. We Will return in a future to enjoy more time visiting this area .

Summary: The photos do not do it justice! The view is stunning, and the house and pool were perfect for a holiday, all very clean and new. It is very close to lots of hilltop towns such as Assisi and Gubbio, both within an hours drive away. There is also a great restaurant just down the road. We were looked after very well and would recommend it to anyone!

Summary: We visited this villa in September 2016 and we had a great time. The owners Alverio and Stefania were wonderful hosts. The villa has huge grounds and a great pool which our kids really enjoyed. We will be definitely be returning soon. It is less than 1hr drive to most Umbrian sites like Assisi, Orvieto, Spoleto, Todi and Perugia. Very highly recommended. Alviero really takes care of the villa and its grounds. All in all we had an exceptional time.

Summary: We spent two weeks at the house with 7 adults and a baby and had a great time. The pool is the best pool we ever had and was perfect to spend the whole day in and around it. It gives a gorgeous view on Perugia in the distance and the Umbrian landscape which is very much Toscana in that area. A sunrise over Perugia with some early morning fog floating in the valleys - a breathtaking view! Other than pool and view, the house is perfectly located to have all of Umbria's top sites to visit in the range of a one hour drive or less (Orvieto, Assisi, Gubbio, Todi, Lago di Trasimeno and others - Perugia is 20 minutes away) and for avid lovers of Italian history and art even Florence and Rome are in reach (we spent a marvellous day in Rome, it is an easy 2 hour drive). And last not least, Stefania and her dad Alviero are "landlords" very supportive in case of need (be it a reservation at the horse stable nearby or a recommendation for how to get best to Fiumicino Airport) and eager to share the qualities of Umbrian food. Thanks a lot, Alviero, for the delicious pomodori and other things you made us try and for your patience to listen to the bits and pieces of my Italian, I really enjoyed trying them out on you. Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable villa in beautiful location in the centre of a small Olive Grove carefully tended by the delightful father of the the owners. From getting lost and being picked up by the owner in the middle of the night on arrival to being taken to the nearest supermarket the following day as we forgot our universal adaptor for our electrics, they were kindness personified. The villa is on the side of a hill facing out over the valley and is surrounded by level farmland. At night sitting on the balcony overlooking the twinkling lights of the city in the distance was beautiful. The owners and family were exceptionally kind and provided us with a taste Umbrian food, fresh produce from the garden and even organised a BBQ for a get together to watch my husbands football team in the Champions League on Sky. The Villa has everything required and if not just ask and if possible they will accommodate your request. They have plans to build a swimming pool for 2014. The villa is self contained and the owners do not reside on site so the location is very private. Shops and restaurants are about 15 mins drive in Castel del Piano. Lake Trasimeno within 30 mins. One of the sisters has just opened a fantastic Artisan Gelateria at via Carducci, Castiglione del Lago called L'Artigiano del Gelato, so make sure you make time to visit for a delicious Ice Cream. There was also excellent wifi connection in the property. Being seasoned travellers in Italy this has been one of the best and most authentic Italian experiences we have had.
