Positive: The villa was absolutely gorgeous, new, but respecting the traditional local touch. It has a charming interior design, showing the attention to details and good taste of the host and a nice garden and pool. Our host was very kind and helpful with all our requests, providing us useful recommendations and reservations, and even a delicious surprise birthday gift.

Positive: Beautiful stone villa and a very clean pool. A real kitchen to cook in. Cute cats frolicking around outside the front door. Peace and quiet at sunset with a view of olive and fig trees…

Negative: The one and only thing that could be slightly improved was no instructions for the house rules like how to set the alarm, how to work the air conditioning, turn on the tv. We struggled a bit with these things but only mention it because it could easily be rectified by leaving an instructions manual with some details written on it. Otherwise the property was really really exceptional and we loved it.

Summary: I felt like walking around in a toga and being fed grapes.

Positive: The villa was beautifully decorated and so easy to relax with the pool and outdoor dining. Cisternino has lots of dining options. You will need a car to explore the area.

Negative: We love the watermelons, and it's a pity there wasn't a large knife to cut through. However, we did manage. There is also one lounge sofa for a family, which wasn't really enough, but we were outside most of the time.

Positive: We loved our stay at Villa Vittoria. The villa was immaculately clean. Upon our arrival Vittoria had stocked the house with essentials such as milk, bread, crackers and even a lovely bottle of wine. She met us and let us know how everything worked. The pool and grounds are amazing. There are plenty of shaded areas for the kids to pay. The villa is located out in the beautiful countryside but it’s only a 5 minute walk to a village which has everything you would need such as a shop, amazing pizza restaurant and pharmacy. We would love to visit again in the future.

Positive: Loads of space,very comfortable, delightful outside area, stylish. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s very peaceful and private but a few minutes walk from an unspoilt village with great local restaurants and shops.

Negative: Liked it all , perhaps some better cooking equipment, a chef’s knife and a bread knife would have been good,but that’s nitpicking.

Summary: If you want a place to relax and enjoy the real puglia this is for you…wonderful.

Positive: Super quiet location, you do need a car to get there, but it’s peaceful and clean and super relaxing! Vittoria greeted us with a smile and was super helpful throughout whenever we needed anything! Pool is clean and the grounds are well kept! Was a bit scared about the reviews with the “dog barking all the time” but honestly we might have heard the dog a couple of times and inside the house you can’t hear a thing.

Positive: Beautiful, well maintained villa which was super clean. Air con and mosquito screens fitted which is a must in the summertime. It’s in a great location not far from Ostuni and Cisternino with good local restaurants a walkable distance. Hosts are very friendly and responsive. Outside space is lovely with bbq/ kitchen and a small pool ( we didn’t use as weather not kind ). Very private with good security system. Highly recommend. Would stay again. ( It’s even nicer than the photos).

Negative: If being really picky perhaps a few more kitchen utensils eg, wooden spoons, chopping board, egg cups. But this is minor and doesn’t detract from the overall great experience .

Summary: A very comfortable stay in a modern, clean and cosy Villa.
