Positive: Just as described and as seen in the pictures. There were 7 adults and one new baby and really we had lots of room to spare. Both indoor and outside space did not disappoint. So many areas to relax either in the sun, shade or with air conditioning.

Negative: Nothing. It was hidden away ( as described) which may not be some people’s preference, but for us we loved hiring cars and exploring, then coming back to luxury with fantastic Mountain Views. The village has lots of amenities though, and a very friendly supermarket.

Summary: Perfect family holiday with our adult children and new grand baby. Holiways were brilliant throughout the whole booking

Positive: Since we have unfortunately had some negative experiences with villas from other providers, we arrived with a neutral feeling. However, after our host Stella welcomed us into the house, it took less than two minutes for us to be completely amazed. The reception and the first impression of the villa were outstanding and did not change throughout the week. In fact, the villa looks even more beautiful than in the pictures. The kitchen offers everything you could possibly need. The rooms were lovingly and stylishly furnished. Overall, the villa was in a very clean condition. The pool and outdoor area also impressed us with their beauty and cleanliness. After a week at Villa Vega, we couldn't find anything negative. Under one of the sun loungers and in one of the bushes in the lounge area, there were small wasp nests. Unfortunately, a guest was stung. However, overall, wasps and mosquitoes were hardly present. Our host Stella was available to us 24/7 and answered all our questions to our complete satisfaction. We have been home for a few days now and are still very enthusiastic. We can only recommend Villa Vega and Holiways and would love to come back!

Positive: Everything is absolutely amazing. From the wonderful welcome of the staff to the location and the facilities. It’s located close enough to Chania that we regularly visited for dinner. But closer by there is some lovely taverns that are worth visiting. The house itself is in a very quiet neighbourhood, very peaceful. We appreciated all the service, the house was lacking nothing. Plenty of toiletries, garbage bags, laundry detergent and cooking supplies, we wanted for nothing. We stayed for a week and they cleaned the whole house and changed our sheets and towels which was much appreciated. We booked a boat trip through the staff and made use of all their tips regarding what to see and do in the area which was very helpful.
