Positive: We had an amazing stay here! The flat is very well equipped, with a full kitchen, washing machine and anything else you need. The real highlight is the garden and the stunning view over the hills - unfortunately we had a few days of rainy weather so could not make full use of the pool but we were so grateful to have such a tranquil spot to relax! Moreover, Vittorio and his son were the most welcoming hosts! They were so kind and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations for the surrounding area and even sent us away with some limoncello and local wine. The location to explore Tuscany is great but we also really enjoyed the proximity to Casole d’Elsa, which has beautiful restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

Negative: The bed is a bit older and the host already mentioned that it will be replaced shortly, but we did choose to sleep on the pullout sofa as my boyfriend was a bit too tall to sleep comfortably on the bed’s mattress. It was really comfortable and didn’t affect our stay in the least!

The villa itself was a peaceful haven, with breathtaking views and complete privacy. We particularly appreciated the dual dining spaces—both indoors and out—which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Tuscany at every hour. It’s rare to find a place that balances independence with genuine connection, but here, we had the chance to share a drink or two with our hosts and get to know them on a more personal level. These conversations made our stay not just comfortable, but truly authentic and memorable. The kitchen was properly equipped and included thoughtful touches like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, and olive oil—small details that make a big difference. In contrast to the rather spartan setups we've encountered at other Booking.com properties, this felt generous, welcoming, and carefully considered. The swimming pool was pristine and lovingly maintained, set against a backdrop so captivating it could almost be called an infinity pool.
