Positive: The pool. The fact that it's right on the beach, and it allows pets.
Negative: h where do i begin? We rented the entire villa for 3 nights. The overall cleanliness is severely lacking. Dead bugs on the sheets, spiders and dead bugs in pretty much every corner of the room and bathroom. Ants everywhere in the room. Rooms have high walls/ceilings that have probably never been cleaned. I asked for the room to be vacuumed because the floor was dirty upon arrival. I could feel the mattress coils sticking out on the side of the bed, and the bed itself feelt like it can collapse any moment. - Leaking toilet and moldy shower - plug not working -TV not working -Ceiling fan not working I found a dark hair in my food, and i stopped ordering food with them after that, but my friends kept being brave. The menu is very limited, only Sri Lankan food, extremley mediocre while the prices were similar to a 5 star hotel in Colombo. You are pretty much their hostage as there are no restaurants around so you are stuck ordering whatever they offer at whatever prices they set. - Living room area has the smallest fridge while the pictures show a full size fridge. - Terrible wifi, and your phone data will not be working either. - The power went out multiple times during our stay When we were getting ready to leave i went to my room to use the bathroom one last time and one of the staff members came into the room and opened the bathroom door while i specifically said "no, I'm here'" Overall, this is not worth the almost 4 hr car ride from Colombo. The beach is similar to every other beach along the way, and the villa itself and the services were disappointing. Don't recommend.
Summary: Hefty price for poor services. Don't recommend.

Positive: Great place with a nice vibe and a fantastic swimming pool. Perfect spot to relax or have a small party with friends. It was a bit difficult to find because the map showed several small roads that weren’t suitable for cars, but the main road access was good.

Positive: The villa was clean and beautifully decorated. Loved the pool which was very well maintained. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
Negative: The lighting in the bathroom could be improved. It's too dark. The road getting there wasn't the best but not much the owners can do about that.

Positive: Lovely villa, beautiful rooms overlooking the ocean, very nice living area, great pool - super comfortable stay to really make your own and feel at home! On site chef was good - stick to Sri Lankan food.
Negative: Quite a quiet, remote area - not much happening in terms of cafes/restaurants. Beach is lovely, but not a swimming beach - dangerous undercurrents. Staff were very nice, but would appreciate a bit more proactivity - like cleaning the rooms without being asked.
Summary: Lovely villa to get away from it all!
