Negative: Maybe they could improve on 2 aspects: the light filtered abundantly in the rooms (especially where the second bed lied) in the morning (for those who need darkness to sleep). The second aspect is breakfast: could be a little more varied.

Positive: We had an issue at a hotel in Ancona and needed to find a new place within just a few hours. We were lucky to find Villa Silvio and booked only an hour in advance. The hosts were very accommodating. Once we arrived, we were shown our cabin and the hosts even gave us a recommendation for dinner and made the reservations for us. The cabin is very small but was perfect for two and we ended up spending our one full day there at the pool and around the property. This is a beautiful villa with a few rentals on the property. Our wooden cabin had a private sauna, terrace and views of the sea. The pool and gardens throughout the property are beautiful. The breakfasts were also great. Molto grazie Luce e Cristiano for making our stay so amazing.

Positive: We were so pleased to have discovered this wonderful Villa the temp in Rome was unbearable. We drove to the sea. The villa was in the hills above the sea with just a short 8 minute drive down to the beach. Maria Luce and her family were wonderful hosts. They even fixed an American breakfast for us with fresh eggs from their own chickens. Wonderful people.

Negative: After a long hot day of discovering the area the peaceful tranquil setting was exceptional. The pool was exceptional. The quiet evening in the cool summer night with just the sounds of nature. Amazing !

Summary: “La vita lenta” the slow life of the Italian country side. Loved it!

Positive: Everything else. Beautiful place, fantastic views, charming hosts, excellent breakfast with real coffee ( so rare nowadays). Lovely, functional swimming/ diving pool. And three adorable dogs!

Negative: The descent to the room was quite tricky. The steps were fine but the steep slope between the steps was difficult.
