Positive: The location of the villa is excellent within the grounds of a hotel whose facilities can be used and where the staff are very welcoming. The maid Christelle who looked after us for the duration of our stay, made us feel very comfortable and welcoming. She also cooked some delicious meals for us and did the grocery shopping. We were grateful to have her taking care of us.

Negative: The villa is in a desperate need of renovation. The rooms where our family stayed for a few days had issues with the toilets with the odour being felt in the rooms something which is not only unpleasant but potentially dangerous. Our room did not have such issues but the tv didn’t work, the shower got blocked and the toilet was unstable and wobbly. The pool was not clean when we arrived and we had to ask for it to be cleaned which took 3 days during which we were unable to use the pool. Overall we would not recommend it for the price it is being advertised at, unless the owner gets it renovated and these fundamental issues get fixed. In its current state the villa is highly overpriced compared to other properties in the area.

Positive: Lots of space, a beautiful pool and outside area, great location with good amenities close by. Fantastic housekeeper who looked after us so well and prepared us some delicious meals.

Positive: Built with care. Nice set-up.

Negative: Not well maintained. Some things were falling apart, like door handles, slabs next to the pool and on the floor. Dishwasher not working. No dustpan to clean. No paper in the toilets. No shower gel or hand wash soap or dispenser. The tap of the bathtub was falling apart. There were noises from the water heater that prevented us to sleep one night. Internet was not working in the living room when we arrived. No water boiler (we were told it was broken but never got a new one). No electric plug adapter (we asked and got only one for 8 people). No washing detergent. More issues that I may have forgotten about. During our 5 nights stay the pool boy came only once to clean. The cleaning lady did not wait for our arrival (she texted that she was sick) and we did not have an introduction of the property. On another occasion she said she had to go to a cremation and cane at 11 am to clean. When we left she was not there to check the property.
