Positive: The Villa was beautiful. Every detail has been carefully considered. Well maintained and all done to a really high spec, it was comfortable and catered for a family as well as being stylish. It’s well located, close to the main Port (5 min drive) and a handful of stunning beaches (10-20 min drive) I recommend having a car on the Island. The view from the pool, balcony and various dining spots was breathtaking and made it feel like a real escape. It was peaceful and serene, a truly restful experience. Nickos and Marianna were there to greet us upon arrival and secured us a hire car, as well as providing a suitably sized cot for a three year old. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, they were on hand to provide local recommendations and left us a bottle of wine upon arrival. Would highly recommend the Villa and kind and conscientious hosts.

Summary: Stunning Villa, kind and conscientious hosts. A truly restful experience. Would highly recommend.

Positive: We have just stayed at this lovely villa for 4 nights. We’ve stayed in quite a few villas around the world and I can honestly say this is the best one we’ve stayed at so far. It’s beautiful. It was immaculate inside and out and the view is amazing. The photos don’t do justice. Every little detail has been thought of and supplied.. Nikos and Mariann were so friendly and gave us recommendations for some lovely restaurants and beaches. We would highly recommend this villa and will look forward to coming back in the future.

Positive: My family and I stayed at Villa Politimi for two weeks in July (2023). Our hosts were warm and welcoming. The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully designed and decorated. All facilities were easy to use and modern. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of hanging and draw space for our clothes. The kitchen was modern and well equipped. The views from the house towards Skopolos town and the surrounding countryside were stunning. We especially loved the outside spaces where we dined al fresco and sunbathed by the swimming pool. Swimming in the pool was a welcome retreat from the heat of the day. All in all, we had a truly fabulous time.

Negative: Our host, Nikos, collected us from the port when we arrived. Although we had directions to the house and a SatNav, the house was located along several tracks in the hills and we would have found it difficult to find without assistance .

Positive: This is so much better in the flesh than in the photos. Everything was immaculately clean, looked freshly decorated and felt very spacious, even with 4 of us staying (full capacity). Though there is another villa at the same location, it has been built very cleverly so that neither property is overlooked by the other; we barely saw or heard our neighbours at all! I especially liked the view, huuuuge wardrobe storage (no tripping over suitcases here!) and the vast outside space with multiple cushioned nooks, sofas and sunbeds; perfect for some holiday reading and relaxing. My husband also has a special mention for the powerful rainfall showers and the mozzy screens on every door and window (works like a sliding door) that allowed us to let the breeze in whilst keeping the bugs out! Kids loved the pool and having their own space. Marianna & Nikos are incredibly gracious hosts and have clearly gone to great lengths to make their property welcoming and feel more like a 'home' than a holiday let. They treated their villa like it was ours during our stay (e.g. asking permission to enter when arriving with cleaning and maintenance crew) and went above and beyond to make good on a small issue that cropped up whilst we were there. We could not be more grateful to them!

Negative: The villa is incredibly well-appointed and Marianna has already thought of and provided most things that guests will need. The only thing that I missed was a full-length mirror!

Summary: Incredible place! I wish I could move in permanently!
