Unique in the heart of Skopelos, Votsalo House is one of the oldest houses in the village. Recently renovated, respecting the techniques and materials of the island, it has kept its character (wooden floor, mirror, antique furniture ...) and has modern equipment (WIFI, AC ...).
Outside, enjoy the large garden with trees and flowers, terraces, pool, garage (rare!) without forgetting: garden lounges, parasols, armchairs, deckchairs, BBQ ...

Inside:
Traditional house and modern comfort, perfect for a successful holiday on a wonderful Greek island!
With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it can comfortably accommodate 8 people (possibility to add 2 single beds for children).
2 bedrooms in the main part.
2 bedrooms each with their own entrance and bathroom.
Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, gas stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, basic utensils ...)
Living room with TV, DVD player and library and dining area in front of the fireplace.
2 bedrooms are in the main house and share a bathroom.
The other 2 bedrooms each have their own entrance and bathroom.
Access to the largest room is via stairs (a few steps down). Located at the bottom of the house, this room is naturally cool in the summer

Unique in this area, the house has a large garden with trees and flowers, many terraces, a swimming pool. On site also: a covered garage for 2 vehicles (rare!).
In a few minutes on foot, you will be at the port, where everything goes! A coffee hit in the morning watching the boats come in and out of the harbor, stroll and get lost in the small pedestrian streets, lunch or dinner in one of the many delicious taverns of Skopelos, succumb to the pastries ... not to mention go shopping !
A 10 minute drive from the beautiful beaches of the island, hiking trails and churches or monasteries (there are more than 300 on the island!).

Summary: This is a beautiful property. It is traditional in style, simply but very nicely decorated, with great indoor and outdoor spaces. It is impeccably kept. We immediately felt at home. It is an easy walk to the port with all of its shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool, meals on the veranda with views through the trees to the ocean, and the comfortable indoor living spaces. It was perfect for our group of parents and four adult children who were in skopelos for a family wedding.

Summary: Spent 10 night in July in this beautiful Villa. Two young children were included so important it was in a safe area. Grounds, pool, outside dining area, all beautiful. Two bedrooms in the main house and two with separate entrances on the lower levels. Room for parking for 2 small cars and a quad. Geraldine the owner, was in contact during vacation. Would recommend for sure.

Summary: What a wonderful stay! The location and the setting are perfect; easily walkable to town, but it feels like a country retreat. The house is what one imagines a perfect Greek house might be and it created the ideal setting for alfresco dinners, great conversations on the terrace into the night, and languid afternoons with a glass of crisp Greek wine by the pool. Skopelos is a dreamy place and this house is the perfect environment for an enchanted week. Many thanks to Géraldine, the owner, and to Nathalie who welcomed us so beautifully. We can't wait to go back.

Summary: Fantastic easy access into town location. Ideal for mixture of people travelling. Extremely good stocked kitchen. Lovely sunny pool area. Only slight disadvantage for elderly or infirm is number of steps on the property and uneven cobbled/terrace .
