Positive: Nassia and her husband are great hosts. We got a message that the appartment was ready before original chick in time. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. There was juice, water, coffee, homemade cockies and jam in the room. If you want to make meals it's a great place for longer stays. The area is quite and two small restaurants nearby. You need to drive 5 km to bigger village if you want more options. The common outdoor area is nice. We had our breakfast afternoon drinks there.

Negative: The outdoorspace at the apartment (lower level) is not cosy, therfore we only used the common outdoor area.

Summary: Great quite place in the south-west part of Peloponnes.

Positive: At Villa Petra, one can imagine being royalty & arriving at their country home for peaceful respite, morning swims in the sea, and the graceful beauty of gardens surrounding the property. A long driveway of stone is lit up Nassia and Nick embody the best of Greece’s hospitality; she gifts all with homemade marmalade & soaps, ensures that towels are fresh & soft daily, and they amazingly open the dinner table wide every Saturday offering plates of quality grilled meats, salad, and free flowing wine for all their guests. This weekly traditional banquet is an inviting space to swap stories, cultural experiences, and a shared humanity between geo-diverse travelers who happen to stay together at the Villa. Without realizing it, they are contributors to more peaceful international relations and expanded cultural understanding by way of shared plates of lamb, steak, pork chops, and juicy tomatoes! The location is perfect, just mere minutes from Petalidi with restaurants and tavernas, a 5-10 minute walk to the sea, and a half hour drive to the charming offerings of the town of Koroni. Just 25 mins away are waterfalls, with crystal clear waters to jump in & a welcome rigorous climb to the very top, if one chooses! We’d return in a heartbeat to Villa Petra; it’s Greek hospitality at its finest.

Negative: Everything is so outstanding about the property—it’s truly like staying in your own castle! My only remark is that for all its outstanding qualities, the water pressure for a shower was next to nothing. Once the faucet is switched from bath to the shower head/hose, the stream of water is very weak/light. There is also no way to hang the hose/shower head up above & the hose length is short, so one has to sit quite close to the faucet to “take a shower”. None of this would prevent me from staying again, as the accommodation is superb in every other way! It’s likely an easy fix with just a little attention :)

Positive: Everything you could possibly think of has been provided at Villa Petra. Extremely clean and spacious accommodation. The grounds were also very inviting to sit in the sun or under the shaded area. Parking was excellent with the gates being locked at midnight for security - felt very safe and totally at ease here. Really liked being able to self cater and enjoy eating and drinking in the grounds. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for providing us with a top class place to relax for a couple of days - lovely memories of Villa Petra.

Nicely decorated with original paintings, artifacts and marble floors. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome gifts. Friendly host who takes pride in her establishment. Easy parking.
