Outstanding views and absolute privacy make Villa Pelagos the ultimate choice for your holiday. It is located in the historic village of Gastouri a film location for the popular TV series The Durrells.
This much-loved family home is now on the market for holiday rental.
Set behind electric gates in 2.5 acres of natural landscape with expansive grounds full of native trees, flowering shrubs, and manicured lawns.
The entrance hall takes you into a spacious living room with a bay window overlooking the garden, the large swimming pool, and those magnificent views. The large modern kitchen/dining area also looks to the garden, pool, and sea views. One twin bedroom has an adjacent shower room on this floor and a utility room.
The first floor has the main double bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom and a twin bedroom adjacent to a family-size bathroom with a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms access the wide balcony that overlooks the swimming pool, the Ionian Sea, and views of the Greek mainland and Albania. Should extra double bedrooms be required in the main villa, both twin bedrooms can be made up as doubles, on request.
The wide terrace wraps around three sides of the villa allowing for two separate outdoor dining areas or one large space for larger groups, a third dining area is set in the garden itself and has views over the Ionian Sea and along the southeast coast of Corfu.
Follow the garden path to the pretty guest house which has an open-plan double bedroom, sitting area, kitchenette plus shower room. The stunning cathedral ceiling gives an overall feeling of spaciousness. Two sets of French doors provide direct access to the private terrace, sunbathing area with sea views, and the newly established herb garden. The guest house is an excellent addition for guests wanting their own space yet still closely connected to the villa. All our bathrooms have recently been renovated.
The large infinity-tiled swimming pool is positioned for the best sea views of all. A stone sunbathing area, adjacent to the lawn offers space for sun lounges and umbrellas. There is an outdoor shower installed under the olive tree next to the pool.
Overall this property is all about outdoor living with a large built-in barbecue and spacious areas for al fresco dining. Garden paths for exploring the grounds, remote controlled gates, and a garage plus ample parking onsite and complete privacy.
A cot and highchair can be provided on request free of charge.
Filtered drinking water is available in the kitchen of the main villa.
All bedrooms are air-conditioned and WIFI is available throughout the house.

Summary: We have had a fantastic time at villa Pelagos. The villa is amazing the pictures don’t quite do it justice. It is clean, spacious and so well cared for and Sue was a fantastic host, perfect communication. The pool is one of the highlights, great size and depth, but the best thing by far is the view, it has to be seen to be appreciated, and can be seen from so many spots, from the pool to the various outdoor dining areas. We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to be back soon.

Summary: The villa was wonderful. Very modern and in wonderful condition. Pool was perfect and as with every other review....view was amazing. Sue took great care of us and responded quickly to every question we raised and Diane came in twice a week to make sure the place was clean and tidy. They were a great team. The villa is slightly off the beaten track so you really need a car but then I sense there are few places to stay on the island where you don't need a car. We found some wonderful beaches at Agios Gordios and Agios Pelakas just 25 minutes in the car. Eating out was easy and great quality. I would recommend Salto in Corfu Town if you want something really special.

Summary: Wonderful villa in a fabulous location, the views were amazing and great for plane and boat spotting whilst lazing by the pool. Very private and quiet too. We were very well looked after by Sue before and throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: Nice, clean and a very cozy house. The pool area is fantastic. We stayed six adults in the house and there were plenty of space for us. The house has everything you need for a nice vacation. We will definitely come back!
