Overlooking the Adriatic sea, beautiful island Lokrum and historic old city, Villa Paulina, surrounded by cypress trees and wonderful gardens, is ideal place for relaxing and exploring the beauties of Dubrovnik.
This amazing 500 m2 historic house (built in 1938) is on the list of protected monuments as a house of exceptional architectural value between the Two World Wars.
Villa Paulina nurtures the concept of interesting and functional spatial design where all interior design elements are from famous international and Croatian designers (Charles&Ray; Eames, Eero Saarinen, Jean Prouvé, Eileen Gray, Foruse, Konstantin Grcic, Hee Welling, Otto Blümel, Maarten Van Severen, Grupa Numen/For Use etc.).
Every detail has been carefully considered and created in cooperation with the famous architectural team from Studio Up and in cooperation with famous Croatian artists. Enjoy the paintings, sculptures and installations of Nikolina Šimunovic and Petar Dolić, artists of great sensibility and art of creation.
Villa Paulina has 5 designed bedrooms with 'en suite' bathrooms and a king size murphy bed in the living room, and 2 extra beds. 12 + 2 people can be accommodated. On the ground floor is a large kitchen, tavern where guest will enjoy traditional food, bedroom with en suite bathroom, family toilet and a living room.
In front of the villa there are private garden, hot tub, swimming pool, dining table and lounge chairs. This stunning terrace overlooking the Adriatic sea, beautiful island Lokrum and historic old city will impress all romantic souls.
First floor, also called Paulina's floor has beautiful designed bedroom with ''en suite'' bathroom, salon where can sleep two on the murphy king size bed, and dining room. On this floor, especially in salon guest will experience the life in this villa for past decades. Second floor has 2 designed bedrooms with ''en suite'' bathrooms, one balcony where guest can enjoy in beautiful view of island Lokrum and historic old town, lobby, sauna with shower room, and mirror room with luxury bathtub that is connected with attic. The attic contains of beautiful designed bedroom with ''en suite'' bathroom and book corner where book lovers can enjoy reading fine literature.
Also, in front of the villa there is garage for our guests.

Summary: Incredible house which was perfectly located and designed for our large group of 12 (three families). Our host, Ivan, was fabulous and organized transportation, personal chef and frankly anticipated exactly what we needed even before realized it!! Summary: Villa Paulina is an extraordinary place. The view of the harbor is breathtaking. The house is a beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained gem. But most of all, the owner, Ivan, constantly went above and beyond to make our stay a perfect one. He stocked the refrigerator with some items we asked for. He also arranged for a car to and from the airport and arranged for dinner to be delivered one night. The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day spent touring. Our stay at the Vill Paulina was a vacation of a lifetime!

Summary: This is a great property, located in the prime area of town with easy walking access (some hills FYI) to the Old Town / Old City. The house has all of the essentials. The host Ivan was, without a doubt, the top host that I have ever worked with in any rental property ever (for reference, I’ve probably rented ~35 homes in my life). He was so responsive, accommodating, service focused, client-first, flexible, understanding, etc. We had some small needs (WiFi went down temporarily) or grocery items or help with recommendations and he was amazing. I can’t recommend this house or this host any more confidently.

Summary: This was a perfect experience. The host, the property, and the location…perfect. The host greeted us in the rain upon our arrival to assist us with our luggage and arrived at 4:20 am to assist us when we departed. He responded to our every need. He ensured we had the best experience. The property is everything you see in the pictures…. views, space to spread out, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and the property is close enough to walk to town. Our entire group loved everything about this host and location…a perfect ending to a two week vacation. You won’t be sorry if you get the chance to book this property. Thank you, Ivan. Summary: We had the best stay at Villa Paulina. The property is perfect -- well-maintained, lovely inside and out, and in a wonderful location. We had peace and quiet in our own space, and it was an easy walk to several beaches and to Old Town Dubrovnik. Ivan, the house manager, was incredibly responsive and helpful. Our weeklong stay was absolutely wonderful.

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Dubrovnik at Villa Paulina. The house is correctly represented in the pictures on VRBO. Ivan was a great host. He helped us plan our events. He stocked the kitchen with some treats and coffee for us. He quickly responded to all questions. Villa Paulina is in a great location. Close to old town and the beaches. 5 STARS- We would definitely rent again if we make another trip to Dubrovnik!
