Positive: We loved our stay at Villa Olive! The location is fantastic. A bit challenging to reach at first, but it has its charm and you get used to it quickly. The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was great, and the outdoor area is beautiful. We were the only guests during our stay, which made it extra peaceful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place we would recommend!

Positive: Upper Qeparo is the most incredible little town and this house was a magical place. The apartment itself had everything we needed and the shared area had incredible views. The hosts made us feel welcome. We will be back!

Negative: The walk up to the house is steep and you need to bring your bags up and down. Bring good walking shoes, take your time and it'll be ok!

Positive: The absolute highlight was staying in the old crumbling hilltop village of Old Qeparo. There are amazing walks on your doorstep, some excellent restaurants and a small shop that just about meets all your needs. The hosts Akil and Alisa were brilliant and very helpful. The accommodation has some beautiful outdoor areas and is decorated and tended to a really high standard.

Negative: We stayed in the small apartment downstairs and we felt that it was quite expensive for what it was, and isn't really suitable for self caterers / people staying more than a couple of days. There was just one hob for cooking and very limited surface space, so it was quite difficult to make dinner. There is only one door and one small window, so it was impossible to get the room cool at night time even though it was lovely and cool outside even in the summer (there is no air con but one fan which circulated warm air). The apartment is underneath a family apartment, and if someone upstairs runs or knocks something, you hear it really loudly. Unfortunately for us the family above had young kids who seemed to like to crash and bang a lot! We were on a "romantic get away" and it was difficult to relax with a family around who had very different needs to us.

Summary: Wonderful setting - stay in the family apartment if you can!

Negative: We missed a parasol and maybe some sunbeds. Also an outdoor shower would be great.

Positive: Owners are extremely helpful, practical and easy going Village is beautiful, but run down! Amazing two restaurants which we ate at for both lunches and dinners Enjoyable experience overall

Negative: The room we got was a semi basement room, and lighting was not great and there was no view. This was a bit disappointing, but the owners pointed us to terraces so we got the glimpse of mountain and see

Positive: The house is beautiful, original old building reconstructed, very interesting. The owners are vwry welcoming and helpful They knew old stories from the village and the whole experience was great. A great escape from the everyday life, peaceful place and great view. One must see it, no picture or words can expres the view and the feeling you get up there in the mounting.

Positive: Very good experience. Nice place, friendly hosts and lots of climbing (bring good footwear). Also two very good restaurants in the village.

Negative: Difficult to find the place upon arrival. A sign or two in town and on the door would help. I asked a local woman and she pointed me in the right direction then I knocked on what I thought was the right door and it was!
