Positive: The view from the apartment is amazing, it almost makes you forget how far from the lake (up the hill) the property is located. We found most things in apartment useful and it was nice to have a washing machine as well as a nice front yard. The pool was definitely a plus. The kitchen was well equipped. The host seemed helpful with directions although all communication was through whatsapp.

Negative: I did send some suggestions to the host that could be improved such as a separate kitchen towel, a few bigger mugs otherwise there were only small espresso cups, a better trash sorting system in the kitchen so that everything could be separated at once. There were ants in the kitchen - not sure if being taken care of. And there could be a better sign where the apartment doors are located because we arrived at night and walked up the whole building unnecessarily trying to find them. A major turnoff as many have mentioned was the location of the property which basically is a building off the main road (on a hill) to Switzerland. Half of the way down there are no sidewalksor even an alternative pedestrian path so you’re left with walking alongside cars, ambulance (there is a hoapital nearby), campervans and even lorries. Thankfully we were self sufficient and went to the lakeside only once. The walk back at night was quite thrilling but we managed to get back home. A major ick for this apartment was the host’s need to see (receive in whatsapp photos of) our passports. Considering the age we live in and that normally no other private hosts have asked for this, I did not feel comfortable sharing this information online. However it was suggested that without them we could not stay at the property.

Summary: Great view, useful amenities but be prepared to access the property by car
