Positive: Beautiful location with high spec rooms. Staff were lovely. Walkable to town but it had limited eateries

Negative: Housekeeping was sporadic and we felt that there was a disparity between the standard of the accommodation and the level of service. When we asked for things they were provided however having to ask for toilet paper and tea/coffee for the room are things that should be automatically checked and replaced.

Positive: This is located just outside the tiny town of Cellino San Marco. There's not much in the town itself, but you can relax well in the vineyard itself, and go by car to nearby cities (e.g. Lecce, Manduria). The SPA is small, but welcoming, and they offer massages. You can stroll around the grounds and pet the cat for instant relaxation. When there is no-one manning the reception, make sure to phone, the "be back soon" needs to be taken lightly.

Summary: Excellent spot for relaxing further away from the city.

Positive: We stayed in an Excellent and brand new room in a detached block from main house. Exceptional high end facilities and touches in the room. Staff were lovely and helpful. Wish we could’ve stayed longer to use the spa and facilities (which didn’t appear functional/operational?) as we arrived late. More of a venue concept than a hotel but beautiful all the same and we so enjoyed our short overnight stay. Would’ve liked to sample & learn more about the wine if we could’ve stayed longer! Noemi was so sweet and helpful as she had to dash over from sister hotel to check us in at 8pm! Remote so need a car and not much else in the area. We used it as a base for half hour springboard for Solento Saturday Park run!!

Negative: Our disturbed nights sleep! a shame the noise of water pipes seemed to keep us awake … kicking in every 30 seconds, couldn’t work out what it was?

Summary: Beautiful concept and setting. Tastefully restored and refurbished venue type property.
