Summary: We (myself, my sister and my parents) chose Villa Nefeli for our first family reunion after the pandemic started, with the hope to spend some relaxing quality time together and shake off the worries of the past 1.5 years. It was the perfect choice. To begin with, the property and location are fantastic. The front and back yards are huge and meticulously maintained. We loved walking barefoot on the soft grass in the backyard. The covered patio is cozy and perfect for long dinner conversations, and of course for grilling some tasty fish we bought from the fish market in Ormos Panagias. But perhaps our favorite spot was the large shared patio - it lies directly next to the beach and has a fantastic view of the sea and mount Athos. A few times (mostly mornings), we were able to spot a small pod of dolphins swimming in the bay. And on the other side of the fence is the beach and the sea - just meters away. The water was calm, crystal clear and warm enough to bathe even in the end of September. Just a little further left along the beach are some rocks that we explored snorkeling. The house itself is thoughtfully organized and had everything we needed. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Everything is new and spotless - this is probably the cleanest vacation rental I’ve seen. One feature I particularly enjoyed was the outdoor shower - I never used the indoor one. The area itself was very quiet. I’m not sure how it is during peak season, but it felt offbeat and away from crowds. Keep in mind that car is a must, but nothing is too far away. And last but not least - the hosts were very kind, generous and accommodating and always made sure we’re comfortable. We are definitely thinking of going back!
