Positive: Location was perfect with kids!!! Not in a busy area so very quiet with a view of the Mosel from the kitchen/living space! There is a lovely playground directly in front of the building!!! That was such a treat!!

Negative: When asking for extra linens or pillows staff was rude. Most facilities offer extra pillows or blankets or even towels in case you spill something and you need use one to clean it up. They stock the bare minimum. Soap and shampoo are NOT offered like most other stays.

Summary: A decent stay. And good rate for what’s provided but don’t expect ANY extras.

Positive: It was a very nice appartement in a key location for visiting the Eltz Castle - only an hour hike away, and the main reason we chose it. We got a whole appartement wich could in principle fit 4 people (there were 2 of us), the beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked with a toaster, waterboiler, fridge (not mentioned on the booking.com list, but it's there! With a small freezer too), an oven, inductive plate and a coffee machine. The toilet is separate from the shower, so we didn't get in each others way, which was nice. And the host was very friendly and understanding.

Negative: There is one problem with the location - the nearest supermarket is 1h 44 min walking away, or you have to take the train to Koblenz. In principle if one is prepared (or has a car) it's not a problem, but be prepared that you can't just walk out and find food easily. We also had bad luck with the weather (it was raining a lot and the river even started flooding) so restaurants closeby were closed too. Don't trust google too much on those opening hours there.

Summary: Very nice apartment with a friendly host (and with a fridge!) close to the Castle Eltz
