Positive: My host was absolutely amazing, answered all my questions and met me to hand over the key . The apartment was spotless. The view was beautiful. Central to restaurants . The most beautiful place i have stayed in , in over a year. Thank you for your amazing hospitality.

Positive: The Carlton was in the perfect location. Five minutes to Abbott Kinney in Venice and a 12 min drive to Manhattan Beach to the south and Santa Monica to the north. This is our fifth trip to Los Angeles, and this was the best experience. We landed, got a rental car, followed the instructions to the building, entered the gated garage with a code, easy parking directions, close to the elevator, arrived at the front door and entered another code. Very spacious apartment. We found to be very clean and enjoyed the gym & the pool in the building.

Negative: We wanted to extend our stay yet it was booked. We plan to stay again in six months.

Summary: Safe, modern spacious, clean, cheerful, location made driving to sights delightful. Wonderful host.

Positive: Casa Marina saved our holiday. Original reservation was not as advertised (dark, dirty). Moved to CM - beautiful, bright & lots of space. There is a nice balcony w/glass windows that lights the flat up very nice. Codes are used to access building & flat was much better than sharing keys. Best location. (prefer over Santa Monica). Went to SM, Venice and Manhattan Beach (fav beach). Easy access to Disneyland and Universal. Flat is modern, used the gym & pool.

Positive: We are so pleased I took a chance and stayed at Casa Marina - ( IT is Villa Marina) considering it is new property. I travel often these are the biggest I have ever stayed in. They each have sliding glass doors,a very big modern bathroom attached. This had such a great private setting to be able to work. I stayed in Santa Monica last time. I would definitely recommend the Marina as it is the best location to get to all the sites in LA.
