Summary: Excellent hotel with lovely pools and facilities. The gym is poor and shouldn’t have a surcharge, but everything else is great. Great staff, and the pool bar is very convenient. It’s a 20 minute walk to anything (each way) and the only way to and from the train station is by taxi which isjt cheap so bear that in mind

Summary: This is a lovely, slightly out of the way, four star hotel. Facilities are very good. Menu limited if staying for more than a few days but it’s very good food. Walking and public transport are a bit awkward but if you have a car there is no issue with that. The spa facilities are very nice. Best part of my stay!

Summary: Wonderful surroundings - the grounds are beautiful with well cured gardens. Staff are very professional and pleasant. Rooms are ok and airy. The main pool opened at 10am which was a bit late for us as we like to take an early dip. The only negative was the room sound proofing, where we could hear very well the people in the next room.

Staff unfailingly friendly and helpful.A few. minor problems, most fixed promptly.Over-designed,irritating taps in basin which could not deliver a bowl of hot water.Shower panels fixed too high so it leaked.Endless repetitive 'dinner jazz' muzak. Food great but menu same daily unless you have 'half board' and no one, including hotels .com explained that the was an option
