Positive: Everything we needed, wonderful quiet location. Close to good supermarket and restaurants. Our host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The apartment is beautifully presented with many interesting antiques and curios.

Negative: Access via car was a little difficult, especially if you rely on Google maps. But our host gave us great guidance on the best access.

Summary: Peaceful, relaxing and comfortable.

Positive: Such a beautifully appointed, authentically Sicilian apartment, one of three in the Villa. Interiors are quietly charming, cosy and wonderfully true to those of a typical Aeolian style home. The views of the surrounding landscape & ocean are astonishing and the extremely large private terrace is perfect for an afternoon aperitif! I personally loved the location, nestled in the Lipari hills of Pianoconte - about a 10 minute drive to Lipari town. It made for a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Negative: There is nothing not to love!

Positive: My wife and I had a remarkable stay here in October. The days were sunny and warm and the nights were star-filled and peaceful. Villa Margot is fully equipped, convenient & relaxing. And host Claudio made sure we had everything including advice we needed to enjoy our three days. We explored this beautiful island full of history and sea views via leisurely trekking trails and late dinners in Lipari town. Lovely little holiday!

Positive: With the bougainville in flowers and the birds singing in the valley, the house was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sicilian way of things: having good morning coffee on the terrace, nice afternoon siesta (the beds are very comfortable), walking/hiking around the countryside, aperitivo at sunset. The location is great in the village of Pianoconte, and it was very easy to reach the main town of Lipari (less than 10 minutes) and drive around the island. Very welcoming hosts, with excellent recommendations for discovering the aeolian islands. Thank you! This is truly a little aeolian paradise! We will be back, and next time we will stay longer.
