Positive: Wonderful Villa - has everything you could possibly want. Fully stocked kitchen for home cooking / bbq. Comfy beds. Thoughtfully and tastefully decorated and well kept. Good showers. Pool, hot tub, football table etc all made for a fun time for our family. Lovely kind and friendly hosts, who always make themselves available to deal with any queries. They kindly left us a very generous cold food platter on our arrival. The location is brilliant for visiting all the major towns by car (Matera, Locorotondo, Alberebello, Martina Franca, Bari, Gravina, Altamura, Monopoli, Polignano etc)

Negative: Overall we were delighted with our stay at Villa Margherita. If there was any one small concern we would choose that would make it better, which may well be outside the control of the hosts, it would be to do something about the dogs on a neighbouring property who can access the public road from their property. There are a number of them and they bark loudly and run towards anyone out there. This meant that a walk outside the property grounds (including into the local town) was not possible for us on the one day when 2 of our party wanted to do that.

Summary: Wonderful Villa, lovely hosts, superb location in beautiful Puglia.
