Superb Architect Villa of 300 square meters, with exceptional views of the sea and the mountains, 4 minutes walk from the beach, 20km to Porto Vecchio and 1h from the Figari airport.
High-end accommodation for up to 14 people, renovated in 2023-2024 for more comfort, it is ideal for a stay with family or a group of friends.
It has a panoramic terrace with 360º view over the Pinarello Bay and its Genoese Tower, a symbol of Corsica, and over the mountains and the Bavella's Needles. The terrace is protected by a pergola that brings shadow and freshness. It is perfect for enjoying breakfast in front of the sea or a beautiful sunset dinner with views over the swimming pool and the mountains. You’ll be able to enjoy the private heated saltwater pool during all the season, surrounded by a landscaped garden that provides privacy and views of the mountain. The deck of the swimming pool is perfect for a yoga session or to relax under the sun on the deckchairs. In the backyard there is a large pétanque strip next to a relaxing area ideal for chilling.
The Vila is composed of 6 bedrooms, 2 of them suite with complete toilet and other 2 with mezzanine. There are a total of 5 bathrooms, 3 separate WC and 1 in each suite. Up to 14 people can be comfortably allocated, both adults and children. All bedrooms have access to a terrace.
The first floor has a big open kitchen with an aisle, equipped with 2 induction stoves, 2 sinks, 2 fridges (one with an ice maker), 2 ovens, and 2 dishwashers that allows the cooking lovers to pleasantly cook for all while enjoying the view of the sea. A barbecue and plancha (gas) are available for a barbecue party. The kitchen opens up to a luminous dining area that has 2 big tables that can seat 8 people each. A big lounge allows hosting an apéritif or to play games in family. An air-conditioned TV room, a bit separated, will allow smaller gatherings or enjoy a cinema session. And a laundry room with two washing machines.
The private parking area can fit up to 4 cars.
The house is a few meters away from the Pinarello center, hamlet the Sainte Lucie de Porto Vecchio. You’ll find plenty of water activities (sailing, diving, water-skiing…). A small leisure port and gorgeous sandy beaches with thin sand and crystalline waters. During your stay, you can also discover breathtaking hikes around the seaside and across the mountains. The Cavu river allows baths, a wonderful natural experience, and there are some other activities like treetop course with zipline (A Tyroliana) in a magnificent environment, only 15 minutes by car.

Summary: Our stay at Pinarellu was really enjoyable. The property is very well located and the views are just amazing. The pool is also a great way to admire the views and to rest. The house itself is great and spacious but it was not very clean when we arrived. The beds were not made which was surprising- the rooms were nice but fairly small. The beds were comfortable- the bathrooms are basics but practical. Overall a good stay but it is clear that the inside of the house is a bit run down.

Summary: Property was as described in the internet. Positives: Nice views to the ocean, proximity to small town, bakery and restaurants within walking distance. Beach a short walk away with various sail boats and jet ski rentals. Beaches generally clean. Propery has nice accomodations for a big group. Four full bathrooms and plenty of deck space with seating and lounge chairs throughout. Nice to relax. Negatives: Issue with Ants. Might be early in the season and still not treated. Ants everywhere outside and to a certain degree inside the house. Pool alarm can be bothersome, despite deactivating, resets itself to "on" after a certain period of time. Pool needed cleaning (algae on the bottom) unfortunately the equipment to do it were not available. Pool service came in the later part of the week we were there, perhaps they need to come more often. Overall a very nice stay. And yes the driveway is steep, particularly at the beginning. Wasn't an issue for us, but would be for anyone that is physically impaired.

Summary: We came to Corsica from the United States for a family wedding in Pinarellu. The villa was exactly as advertised. Great views, convenient location, modern style, and all the amenities we needed including washer/dryer. It is a 2 story, 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom house that can actually be divided right down the middle to create two side by side 3 bedroom/2 bath units. With the sliding dividing wall open though it feels like a large single family home with two living rooms. Each bedroom has it’s own AC/Heat unit. The main floor with its large sliding glass doors was generally cool from the breezes. The internet worked very well on the first main floor and patios and in most of the upstairs bedrooms. A couple of the farthest bedrooms had a weak signal but not much to complain about. One note of caution, be prepared for a very steep concrete driveway up to the villa. The car handled it fine. Walking the steep incline though was pretty tough. Wasn’t a long driveway and actually somewhat typical for Corsica, but I think it’s an important point if you have elderly or handicapped that expect to go for walks from the villa. In terms of dealing with the owner, Veronique was very nice and very responsive to my emails while booking. Her administrator, Benita, also very nice, met us at the villa when we arrived to give us keys and explain the house. Benita did not speak English, and we did not speak French, so this part was a bit of a challenge. But we were all in good humor and smiled our way through it while playing a bit of charades. We had Benita’s phone number for any on site issues. We never called her though as everything was fine. (We understood that her husband does speak English if there was a need for a translator.) Overall, the house is a beautiful modern house perfect for a large family or group of couples. I would definitely book it again if we return to Corsica. In terms of suggestions or improvements: a few of the mattresses were a little soft for our liking. But I think this is a very personal matter for different individuals. Also, finding the driveway to the house for the first time was a challenge. Veronique had provided me a hand written map in advance. But even so, we had some trouble knowing which driveway was the correct one. Perhaps posting a sign “Villa Libecciu” at the entrance to the driveway can be done. Just a thought. OVERALL: I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY AND THE OWNER.
