Summary: My family and I had a lovely stay at the Villa Le Balze in Vinci in September. The villa is situated in the beautiful Tuscan countryside close to Vinci. As typical for the area the villa has an old-time charm. It definitely has seen better days, but this is just part of the flair. It is very clean and well maintained. However, it has to be mentioned that the villa actually consists of three individual apartments that are joined together. This means there are three smaller kitchens and three smaller living rooms instead of one big one each. There is plenty of space though and a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy. One caveat is the bad WIFI at the villa (but that is not why one would travel to Tuscany). There are a handful of really good restaurants in nearby Vinci and shopping opportunities in Empoli. Also Florence and Pisa are not far. One has to mention though that the booking and payments are made all through another travel company. This worked out very well, but is not mentioned in the description.

Summary: Amazing villa, with plenty of space and a great view. The owner is quick to respond to any of your questions (a bunch of wasps had started to make a nest halfway through our visit, and they got rid of them the next day).
