Summary: What a fantastic place this is. The villa is enormous (much more spacious than we expected from the photo's) and decorated tastefully. All rooms have an own bathroom and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the tools one could need, plus herbs and salt etc. It could easily fit 2 or 3 families. The best part is the outside with a beautiful pool (the view from the pool over the hills is great) and a lot of space to play and/or sunbathe. Bettina, the host, is lovely and speaks excellent English. It was very easy to communicate with her via Whatsapp. The villa is situated close to Florence, Lucca and other beautiful Toscan villages. Grocery shopping is about a 10 minute drive away. I would very, very much recommend the villa to anyone and it is one of the very few places we've stayed where we would like to come back (not that we're so high-maintenance but because normally we like to try different locations).
