Positive: We had the best time and I don’t know where to start. We are just so thankful that we had this home for 3 months - it was perfect for our young family of 3. The villa is situated 10m scooter driver up north Weligama at a beautiful lake and is just perfect for anyone who likes to hide away for a bit whilst not missing any thing if the buzz and beauty of the surroundings. My last bit is for channuka - he is such a good and welcoming host. Always pro active and in general just a good guy that does his best to make you feel comfy. Thank you!

Positive: The villa is huge, beautiful, well-maintained, and clean. It has everything you need for the perfect vacation. We especially loved the outdoor shower! The view here is stunning, the villa is right on the lakefront, and the entire atmosphere is pastoral and quiet. Additionally, the location is great—it's close to both Weligama and Ahangama, making it very easy to get to the center. The host is very pleasant and helpful, he assisted us with everything we needed and made sure we had everything. Highly, highly recommended, and we will definitely be back again!

Positive: The villa has balconies overlooking a beautiful lake. It is a short drive from the busy towns of Ahangama and Weligama so a welcome place to retreat to. It was beautifully peaceful. The beds were comfy, it was very clean and had some lovely touches like tasteful garden lighting. The hosts were really helpful and kind - organising scooters for us and showing us the best bakeries and shopping spots. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. I already miss the view!

Positive: Perfect location in a quite and peaceful area, lake view from the balcony is superb. Villa has a nice interior, beautiful garden and all you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts are extremely nice and helpful, every our question or request were solved really quick. Overall this stay exceeded our expectations and on the next visit we would stay here again.

Positive: I have arrived at Villa Lake Mountain on 07/04/2025 and instantly knew i had discovered something truly special. It is based between borala lake and the busier bigger town of Weligama which gives you opportunity to enjoy local, peaceful and relaxinf holiday meanwhile staying close to bigger city, restaurants and local towns. The hospitality was beyond exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly and remained attentive throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Every request was met with a smile, and their local insights added so much happiness to our experience. The villa itself is breathtaking—immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and designed to harmonize beautifully with its natural surroundings. Highly recommend especially if looking for a relaxing holiday out of a grid and wildlife experience.

Excellent choice for people that look for booming wildlife and place to relax in nature while being close to a bigger city and public transport connections. Highly recommended. Cannot express how friendly and helpful hosts are, always happy to help and advise. First day we were treated with regional king coconut which was delightful and left with a big chunk of Ceylon Cinnamon gifted by the hosts which was very welcoming. Airport transfer and rent a scooter avaiable at a very low price. Very clean and spacious - all you need on vacation included - beautiful big size garden to relax in. If you love peace, quiet and wildlife this place is for you. Again highly recommend.😊

Positive: Absolutely loved this villa overlooking the lake. It is the best connection with nature. The villa is cozy, bright, spacious, clean. There is a beautiful terrace for relaxation, in the room a balcony with the best view. We stayed in the villa for 2 months and it is a place you want to come back to. Excellent kitchen with all the necessary utensils. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioners that work properly. The villa is perfectly sealed and we did not meet any unexpected "guests". The villa was cleaned once a week, the cleaning was of high quality, all rooms were shiny. Excellent communication with the owners of the villa. They are wonderful, good-natured people, always ready to help. There wasn't a single problem that they didn't solve promptly and efficiently. They helped us with the move and stored our belongings when we left for a while, helped with bikes and treated us to a lovely home cooked Sri Lankan dinner. This is a lovely place with wonderful owners who will make your vacation comfortable and happy. We would love to come back again and stay in this magical villa. Thank you for all.
