Positive: Wonderful location, quiet, private and with excellent microclimate and a nice view. Close to a few beaches and to the center. The house was beautifully decorated and the lighting in the pool and surrounding area was really nicely designed too. The hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful in anything we needed. We were very comfortable in our stay despite the hot weather in the island. All in all an excellent trip we hope we will do it again soon!

Positive: This villa is a jewel set in the most beautiful valley. So peaceful , the only sounds are the bells of the sheep and the birds. We had everything we needed and the pool was great. It is beautifully clean and well furnished. We didn't want to leave!

Negative: Nothing. It was perfect. Maybe a change of bed linen as we were there for 5 days and it was extremely hot.

Summary: Absolutely fabulous. We loved it.

Positive: We simply loved our stay at Koukounaria and did not want to leave. The location is perfect with easy access on good roads to Skopelos Town (10 mins) and the beaches at Limnonari (5 mins) Agnondas (5 mins), Panormos (10 mins), Milia (15 mins) and Kastani (15 mins). The villa is in a lovely elevated position with views back to Skopelos Town and has lots of external seating options as well as the pool to relax by. It is very private with just the lovely jingling of goat and sheep bells to keep you company and the facilities in the villa are excellent, especially the bedroom which is a cool and tranquil haven and beautifully decorated. We did not need the aircon at all during our stay as the bedroom is partly built into the hillside and away from the direct sun, which keeps it nice and cool. There is an outdoor sink which is very handy for rinsing off beach gear and doing hand washing but there is also a laundry room with a washing machine which is very useful. The hosts are such lovely people and check in on you to make sure that everything is ok. Hara and her son, Prokopis, met us at the port and guided us to the villa where they showed us around and explained how everything worked. They greeted us with fresh eggs, left us wine part way through our stay and, later, came with some small gifts. They also came to say goodbye on our last day. It is very easy to communicate with them via text message throughout your stay and they are quick to respond. We would love to return.

Positive: If we could describe Villa Koukounaria in one word: AMAZING! The house is everything you need during your Skopelos holiday. It’s modern, nice decorated, spacious, the garden is really beautiful with so many options to sit and the pool area is fantastic. We really felt at home! You have so much privacy and the ambiance is very peaceful. And let’s not forget the sea view, wow we are going to miss this! The contrast with the green trees is beautiful, you can watch it the whole day. And last but not least, the owners of the house are so so sweet! The hospitality was a great experience. It was a pleasure to stay at their magical place. You’ll see us again!

Positive: It was the best choice I could do. The location is very good - I would recommend to rent a car (it takes you less than 10 minutes by the car to be in Skopelos Town). Xara and her family are the kindest people I ever met. I was solo traveling for the first time and they were simply amazing and so helpful - they picked me up and helped me also with the car. Vila is very good equipped so if you would like to cook - you have the opportunity to do so. Huge advantage is also the pool. Definitely fully recommend this property 100% - also for me was not last stay and looking forward to be back again.

Negative: There is nothing what I could dislike.

Summary: A M A Z I N G! Thank you so much again for amazing stay.
