2 Bedroom Villa in Skala

Villa Korfos has a sea view second to none in this south east corner of Kefalonia, set on the rising coast line, overlooking the sea, where on clear days you can see right across to the mainland and watch ferries, sailing boats and pleasure yachts plying their way to and fro.

The Villa has been beautifully finished and designed to be ideal for families or groups of up to three couples with three double bedrooms all of which have a bathroom or shower room en-suite. There is a sofa bed in the larger bedroom for those who require a room with two beds - maybe for teenagers or children.

Location

In a quiet area just out of town, it’s 1.2 kms along the coast from the laid back resort of Skala (https://www.freelancevillas.com/skala-villas/) and a pleasant evening stroll can be followed by a returning short taxi ride back.

If you’d rather not move even that far from the Villa (perfectly understandable), then within a 5 minute walk there is a lovely little undiscovered pebbly cove with beautiful clear water.

There is also a choice between two excellent tavernas. Ten minutes walk further brings you to a patisserie (great croissants for breakfast) and a mini market.

Summary: The pool area with sea views is just lovely. A short walk to a couple of good restaurants and a supermarket, and a 20 minute walk into the centre of Skala. The supermarkets will also deliver which is great. You don't need a car to stay here. The villa is clean and well-equipped and you feel well looked after while you're there.

Summary: This villa has a fantastic location. Right on the sea. Accommodation is a little bit dated downstairs but the pool and the view make up for it. About half hour walk to skala, if it’s hot stop at the bars on the way down! The beach around the corner is absolutely lovely.

Summary: Wonderfully located overlooking the sea and close to two great restaurants. Very spacious with excellent facilities and spotlessly clean . Perhaps a little modernisation would help but that would be being very fussy.

Summary: This is a beautifully appointed villa, finished to a very high standard, with everything you need to make your holiday easy and carefree. All the furnishings an linen were excellent, and having pool towels included was an added bonus. Immaculately clean with a full clean provided mid stay, with fresh towels. Great kitchen, plenty of equipment and utensils, including lots of plastic for poolside. Outside the pool is great, clean and not drenched with chemicals. Cleaned every morning so no need to do anything except enjoy it. But now the best bit, the view! Wow! Looking into the clear blue Ionian Sea, which is within touching distance, the wide view of the bay is spectacular! Great views from both poolside and both upstairs balconies. Sublime. Sunshine all day either front, side or back. And a great location. Walking distance of really excellent restaurants and bars as well as small supermarkets, along with an outstanding patisserie. Main town isn’t too far and easily walkable out with the mid day heat. All in all a phenomenal holiday home. The barbecue could do with updating/changing.
