Positive: Villa Kamelia is situated in the centre of a small and charming typical village, at 4 km of Moires city and nearby wonderful beaches and places to visit. It’s an old stone house, renovated with a lot of love, passion and precision for every detail. The villa is comfortable and it’s fully equipped with everything you need for your vacation. Very clean, spacious, well decorated and with a huge terrace on the roof. From there you can enjoy the wonderful sightseeing of the olive trees and the sea! The best part were the host Katerina and her mother Vangelio. From the first day of our arrival they welcomed us wormly and made us feel like we are at home. Katerina is extremely friendly and she helped us a lot with her suggestions for places to visit. When we arrived the hosts had filled the fridge with so many things! (bread, eggs, ham, cheese, vegetables, fruits, sweets). They even offered us from their homemade raki and liquor! They invited us and we visited the Vangelio’s beautiful flower shop. It was such a kind meeting! No doubts we would come again to this house! Thank you so much for your kindness and warm welcoming! We feel so lucky that we stayed at your place and met such pure, kind and generous people like you! Hope to see you again very soon! ❤

Positive: Exceptionally helpful, friendly and generous hosts. Beautiful villa with fabulous views. Two good shower units which provided high pressure water and ability to properly regulate temperature.

Negative: Car rental required. Most restaurants and beaches are 20 minutes drive away.

Positive: A very good and warm welcome. We felt welcomed. The hostesses were responsive in arranging adult bedroom as we needed. Surprisingly, we were greeted by a full fridge, so there was no need to immediately run to the store. The village itself is cozy and has beautiful mountain views. We also found jogging routes and felt safe in the area. There are two shops in the village where the most necessary things are available and very good pharmacy ( there You can find many necessary things such as sunglasses, reading glasses and even some souvenires like earings etc.). Every morning we bought bread in the bakery, which is located opposite the Villa. The owner of the villa has prepared a book of recommendations for the nearest beaches and restaurants. We really enjoyed using them and can rate the recommendations as excellent. The villa has a good terrace on the roof with a beautiful view of the sea. We also tried the karaoke machine in the basement. We feel very well rested and left with very good impressions about the sincerity and responsiveness of Crete and the people of Crete. We will definitely come back. You just have to take into account that the house has four floors and you can climb up and down a lot. But overall, a very wonderful house, I recommend it if you want to enjoy Greek culture.
