Positive: We arrived at the beautiful villa in the mountains late in the evening but was left with with a warm, welcoming gift from Ivona, the villa’s lovely host, who left us with an assortment of food/drink for when we arrived and for breakfast the next day! The pictures are a true representation of the villa, bedrooms are clean and spacious with great air conditioning, modern bathrooms (with fantastic water pressure!), modern and fully equipped kitchens, a beautiful garden and pool area with plenty of seating areas, and a fab summer kitchen. The villa is split almost like two apartments, downstairs there is the large kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. Upstairs is accessed by the stairs to the side of the villa which leads up to the balcony area and the front door. There is a smaller kitchen, bathroom, living room and two bedrooms. This worked fine for our group of friends. Every morning a very quiet cleaner, who never woke us, had already cleaned the outside areas including the pool and summer kitchen to keep the garden area tidy. We stayed 7 nights and went on trips by car to Ston, Propratno Beach and Dubrovnik. The closest shops for groceries are a small Studenac Market about 10 minutes away or a bigger Tommy Market in Ston about 30 minutes away.

Negative: The Villa is at least a 30 minute drive from the nearest town with amenities such as restaurants and shops. I think due to the time of year and the heatwave during our stay there were a lot of flies and wasps, however there were bug repellent candles to light.

Summary: A peaceful, idyllic stay in Croatia.

Positive: The host was responsive and very welcoming, with some welcome food abd wine. The place was very nice, especially the outdoor dining area and fireplace/grill. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, and we were a 25 minute drive to Ston. It’s quiet area in the hills, with little around. Shop ahead of time. Recommended!

Positive: Villa Ivona met all our expectations. We were welcomed by the hostess Ivona with a wonderful welcome on the table in the summer kitchen (I adore her cakes and delicious menu)🍹🧁 Ivona showed us the villa and everything we needed to know. We are delighted with her kindness and quick responses. The villa is new and very nicely decorated, he pays attention to every detail, hair shampoos and my wife was most impressed by the hair iron in one of the bathrooms. We took a trip with a speedboat that Ivona recommended and spent a day to remember and ate in one of the best fish restaurants.😊 We will surely come back again when we visit Dubrovnik again.❤️

Negative: My recommendation is to follow Ivona's advice and you won't go wrong.

Positive: We have traveled the world and have never met such a wonderful host as Ivona. She helped us with everything. Brilliant recommendations for food, places to visit and enjoy, and she prepared a great breakfast for us the day after our arrival, as our arrival was late in the evening. I cannot recommend her beautiful villa enough. Villa Ivona also has a speedboat that we enjoyed for two days. Any recommendation for a trip with an excellent skipper. Clean, comfortable, great and quiet location, far from the hustle and bustle of the old town, you can really relax here. The pool was wonderful and the summer kitchen with all appliances and TV. The facility is amazing. We will be back.

Positive: Amazing villa in the mountains with a warm, welcoming and helpful host, Ivona, greeting you with an assortment of locally produced goodies. Everything is just as nice as in the pictures! The bedrooms are beautifully made with great air conditioning, modern bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens, well kept garden and pool area with lots of nice details, big and warm pool and a great outdoor summer kitchen. We stayed two families for one week and made daily trips by car to localities like Ston, Slano and Dubrovnik, which are 20-60 minutes away, for sightseeing, restaurants, beaches and groceries. The sceneries when driving along the roads are really astounding! Compliments to the really stealthy cleaner, who when you wake up in the morning - without us ever noticing - already has been on a visit outside cleaning the pool, washing the dishes, emptying the trash etc, to make the garden ready for the next day! A wonderful place for peace and quiet and to spend quality time with your travelling company.

Positive: It was amaizing time at Ivona's villa and everything was perfect. It is perfect place for get away from buisy city. Still so close to Dubrovnik to do daily trip and visit everything. From the villa you can reach plenty places fot daily excursion. Ivona is amaizing and really helpful with all information that we needed on our stay there. House is so clean and with all you need for comfort stay. We are looking forward to come back here and have great time again. We used also daily trip by boat and skipper who was amaizing with recommendation for great restaurant. At the boat they prepared juices, beer, vine and snacks with grapes for us.

Positive: I am glad that we managed to book this villa. The hostess Ivona allowed us to check in early, which was decisive for us. We are friends who wanted to relax with a good barbecue, swimming pool, peace and quiet, and the villa fulfilled all our expectations. The villa is located in a quiet village not far from Slano and Aci marina, where we enjoyed excellent dinners with live music. The hostess was always available and helped us organize a taxi so that we could relax in the evening and go out. Everyone welcomed us in the villa for the beginning of our stay in the house. We had a karaoke party because there was a speaker and a microphone in the house and we were delighted. The villa has absolutely everything and is very clean, pool towels are changed and robes, shampoos absolutely everything... Kudos to the hostess and her father for the wine and figs. I'll be back again for sure

Positive: The pool was great and it was cleaned every day. The outdoor kitchen area was lovely and very well set up with a fridge, gas hob and its own cutlery and crockery. The location is so beautiful and peaceful. The owner was there to greet us when we arrived and provided some of her homemade wine, oil etc as well as some lovely food.

Negative: There was a slight smell of smoke in the upstairs lounge area so we kept the windows open in the day to air it out.
