Summary: Comfortable property very helpful host. Came out to us when there was a problem with the main entrance gate. Restaurant nearby was lovely.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The owner gave great directions to the main centre and drove us to the grocery store as we did not rent a car. He was delightful!

Summary: Loved the open space and garden area. Even though we were in a neighborhood, it seemed like we were in secluded spot. Inside areas of Villa were comfortable and very nice. Host was truly helpful and certainly made the stay better. Helped us make local dinner reservations. Only negative, just wish it was a little closer to the town center area, so we could walk , but had a car with a parking space so wan't a big deal.

Summary: It's in a very quiet neighborhood, away from the city crowds. Most people will want a car to get around but we were happy to walk everywhere. The train station is 1+ kilometer away, a bit of a hike on hills with luggage on a hot day. We never saw a taxi there. There is a huge modern supermarket 1+ kilometers away where you can buy anything. The only nearby restaurant was mediocre but there are lots of good dining options 15 - 20 minutes walk away. Owner Giulio drove us around to orient us to the area and even took us back to the train station with our luggage when we left. He is extremely friendly and helpful though speaks very broken English. His son, who speaks fluent English, is available by phone. The only problem we had was that the weather was hot and the "children's" bedroom had no A/C, so it was uninhabitable but the couch downstairs was a suitable substitute. The place is beautiful and we had a wonderful time, especially at the lake which is about a 25 minute walk from the house.
