Positive: Aris met us on arrival and gave us a tour of his incredible property. Villa Ithaca is a hidden gem and slice of paradise. The villa has all the ammenities that one could wish for including a lovely view of the sunset. Aris is an amazing host and made sure that the property was fully equiped with everything we might need for our stay. The fridge was stocked with water and the pantry had items to make coffee, breakfast etc. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool area/deck was a great area to hang out/relax after a long day of activites. The villa is quite close to shops, cafes and a pharmacy. Aris also checked in with us daily and was readily available if we needed him - providing dinner and activity recommendations. We would happily stay at Villa Ithaca again on our next visit to Crete :)

Positive: The house was very comfortable for our group of eight and fully equipped, with air conditioning throughout — which made a big difference in the summer heat. Aris was exceptionally hospitable and friendly, and he provided us with plenty of helpful recommendations for beaches and restaurants, which we really appreciated.

Negative: The property itself had some lovely features, but being located in a small village did come with a few of the typical downsides — such as occasional smells from nearby sheep, more insects than we’re used to, and a view that wasn’t quite as impressive as we’d hoped.

Positive: Atis is a fantastic host, friendly, helpful and a charming man. He has created a little gem of an oasis in Villa Ithaca and we will be sure to return. There are plenty of areas to sit both in the shade and sun, so even as a family of 6, we never felt on top of each other!
