Positive: Great location for us returning to the UK having spent a week in Italy. There was a large selection of home made food for breakfast, more than we could eat, the omelette was particularly good. Our host spoke excellent English and was extremely friendly, making our stay very pleasant. Just over 4 hours to Calais, so a perfect overnight stop over. Local pizza restaurant recommended was top drawer…
Negative: The double bed was a little too small for me at 6 foot 4 inches tall, but not many people will have this issue. Great stay. Cannot think of anything else.

Positive: Such a lovely hostess, we received a very friendly welcome. The rooms are great, the atmosphere of the old building is wonderful! History revives through all the visible reminders on the wall. Our hostess helped us make reservations at the delicious pizzeria Ciao Bella (http://pizzeria-ciaobella.fr) where we were provided with tasty pizza late at night.

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Villa Giselle. The owner is incredibly warm and welcoming and the home is just gorgeous - both quaint and modern, spacious and cosy. We arrived with a car packed full of camping gear and we were able to park (after some scary maneuvering) in the driveway of the property. We had brought a picnic dinner with us and were shown to a beautiful little private terrace in the garden where we could eat. We also met the cat, Marguerite - what a cutie! In the morning we had freshly cooked custard tart to finish off the whole experience.
Negative: Only thing I could say is the croissant in the morning seemed a little stale. But honestly didn't affect our experience at all - we'd 100% recommend staying at Villa Giselle!
