Positive: Very easy in and out and great communication with the host through Whatsapp. Our questions and messages were answered immediately. Very clean. The property has pretty much everything you need in the kitchen and some coffee and tea are provided. The grill is a nice touch. The pool is wonderful and I would recommend to pay the fee to get it heated. Bathrooms and showers are large and there are nice towel sets for the bathrooms and a separate set for the pool. The washing machine works well. The neighborhood is quiet and the views are spectacular. A 5 minute drive will get you to either the beach area or to the town. There is easy access to the highway and a 30 minute drive from downtown Funchal.

Negative: As mentioned the beds could be a bit larger given the available space. The driveway is tight when entered from above. I would not recommend for people with mobility issues as you need to walk down about 40 stairs to enter the home. That said, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.
