Positive: The villa stands in its own grounds and is exceptionally private. The grounds are large with fruit trees; there is lots of green grass and a good sized pool which is regularly maintained.

Negative: The location of the villa was quite remote. A car was needed for the smallest of visits.

Summary: The villa is large with lots of space for a large family. The host was very welcoming.

Positive: Host maintains a wonderful large garden with a variety of trees, plants & flowers. Our friendly Host was present to greet us and again on our departure. He was only a call away but we did not have any issues. The pool was excellent. Large & very clean. The property has a perimeter wall with electric gates. It is not overlooked and affords great privacy from immediate neighbours despite its large plot. We loved the owls and other wildlife. The garden attracts some particularly interesting birds. A friendly traditional Taverna is situated at entrance to property access road. Beach can be reached in about 15mins walk if required.

Negative: Rooms are traditional but interior feels appointed to good standard. Location is best suited for those looking for quiet relaxation. But would also suit those who like to enjoy the brighter lights a short drive away but also like to retreat from it. The access road is passable for all types of cars but only just in places so requires to drive carefully if not in 4wd or high wheel base. As in most locations on the island, insect repellent essential to fully enjoy the outdoors.

Positive: A very peaceful location, great facilities at the villa, spacious and comfortable, fantasti pool, close to lovely sandy beaches and several local restaurants within walking distance or just a short drive away. Very friendly and helpful host

Negative: A little remote, a lack of facilities close by so a car is essential

Summary: We had a fabulous time, the villa was perfect for a relaxing family holiday
