Positive: We were a group of 10 with exclusive use of VillaFonte and we had a fantastic 4 nights being looked after by Lesley (despite her being in a car crash the day before we arrived!!). The Villa and its grounds are stunning and so peaceful with many places to sit and enjoy the environment. The pool bar was a particular highlight with a self service honesty bar for wine, beer and soft drinks which was great as well as cocktails made to order. Breakfast was extensive and tasty (some options cooked to order) and Lesley catered a number of meals for us which were all lovely (bbq, pizza, cheese & charcuterie). She also booked tables for us and organised taxis for us to get to dinners out and wine tasting so we could also make the most of the stunning area. The rooms were comfortable with pool towels provided and bath towels changed every other day. Each room has its own shower.
Negative: Not so much dislikes but some very small points You do need to share a toilet with one other room which was fine for us as a group who all knew each other well. We had a particularly very hot few days for May and the first floor bedrooms without aircon did get quite warm.

Positive: The position is really strategic. I come from this region, so I like to visit the area in between Asti and Alba. The owners speak several languages: Italian, Dutch, German, English. I can see they enjoy the region, as the cheese I have eaten was top quality. Also they give good attention to the host and tips. Greatly reccomended.
