Positive: The hosts were just amazing .so warm, friendly and went out of their way to make the stay the best. The views are incredible and even better than the pictures. Wonderful panoramic swimming pool. Wonderful facilities and small acts of kindness - fresh tomatoes from the garden, ability to order fresh bread and pasties to be delivered in the morning, bottle of wine in the fridge when we arrived and a personalised welcome note. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

The villa is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen has everything you need during your stay. The hosts were attentive and knowledgeable about the area, and we felt right at home.

Positive: Melanie and Bauke started this Agroturismo only 6 Months ago. They did a wounderful job in preparing the place to be comfortable and relaxing. We had the only appartment without a terrace - with it it would have been even better. We would recommend Villa Ferranti especially to families with children as there are animals on the farm and much space to run around. Situated between the beaches and the mountains its easy to reach both by car. So if you like it quiet and do not mind some driving - this is a great place to go.

Negative: Finding Villa Ferranti can be challenging when you rely on an offline-GPS navigation in your car. Google and other online navigation services find it without problems under the name "Villa Ferranti" just make sure you have cell service.

Positive: This place is magical! The apartment was spacious and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities and a large terrace with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The friendly owners were always available for a chat and some advice on places to see in the area, and we were even treated to some prosecco and home grown vegetables! The friendly pets and the beautiful pool were an extra perk. Finding restaurants open in the area in early September was a little challenging, but worth the effort - I definitely recommend driving around for a taste of the local specialties, which are incredibly tasty and cheap compared to seaside or city restaurants.

Negative: Not an issue for us as we're used to winding roads and enjoyed the scenery, but keep in mind that driving 10 km on these country roads takes quite a bit longer than 10 km on the highway ;)

Positive: This part of Abruzzo is so beautiful! Hilltop medieval villages, great beaches and high mountains. It felt like the ‘real’ Italy. Villa Ferranti was the perfect base for exploring them all. Originally planned as stop-over, we stayed 6 nights. The apartment was atmospheric and spacious, with comfy beds and great views. There is a beautifully located pool. The owners were very helpful and their efforts really added to the experience. They provided a lot of information and made reservations for beach beds and (very affordable) restaurants.

Negative: It’s a newly opened agriturismo, the gardening is still young, but seeing the diligence of the owners, this will also be stunning next year.

Summary: Highly recommended! Extended our stay
