Positive: The house is wonderful, the views are excellent, the nearby town of Milo (12 minute walk or 2 min drive) is charming, with a coupe of nice places for espresso / pastry items and a few nice places to eat. Our host Alfio was very helpful, even arranging a car to get one of our party to the airport. Highly recommend!

Positive: We were welcomed by the friendly owner who showed us his beautiful home with pride. And it was lovely, with a stunning view on all sites. Breakfast in the sun with a view over the wineyard towards the sea, lovely restaurant on walking distance, a friendly village (with lovely icecreams). We walked (20 minutes drive to Mount Sartorius, family friendly vulcano area), forest is accessible from many points on the road), visited the Etna and enjoyed playing games on the terrace in the sun with a glas of wine :-). The place was clean, everything you need is expect is available and way more (our kids loved the cookies and little chocolates).

Summary: Relaxing stay in a beautiful surrounding with a lot of privacy.

Positive: It was great, +10 for everything. I was searching for such landscapes for a long time. The cantina di vino (it's like a wine cellar) is a superb museum, the vineyard is great, and the wine is delicious. Thank you for everything! Surely we will return.

Positive: We would highly recommend the Villa Etna Massi, we had a very pleasant stay there in October. The villa has a beautiful situation with views to the sea on one side and Mount Etna to the other. The villa is well equipped and also very quiet and peaceful. The nearby village of Milo is also of interest with wine bars and cafes and every single person we met there was kind and helpful. Finally we must also thank our charming host Alfio who was a very good friend to us and always available to help us. We wish him well for the future and we are grateful to him for a wonderful stay. Rating 10 out of 10. [WS - October 2024]

Positive: Everything! The host was so friendly and gracious. He welcomed us warmly and instantly made us feel at home. He had fruit and snacks and beverages out for us when we arrived. The villa was absolutely gorgeous. The terrace overlooked the sea and a beautiful vineyard. Etna looms beautifully in the backdrop. It was so quiet and comfortable. Everything was clean and well decorated. A beautiful room with an old wine press was really a unique touch. The beds were very comfortable. I loved the little town next to the villa. Great little restaurants and a lively square with amazing sea views and Etna views. Cannot say enough good about this place. I would love to go back to Sicily just to stay here.

Positive: what a place !! high up on etna with a views down out accross the sea. Quiet with the vine yard in front of you. you can walk into the town for meals and a drink. all the locals very friendly. Our host , what a star !! we had problem's with our car and he just organized everything . Picked me up droped me off, all fixed. He couldn`t be more helpful. Sicily what an amazing place. we were there for 9 days and only scratched the surface.

Positive: The house has an amazing view. It is spacious, beautiful and very clean. The kitchen is lovely and fully equipped, including with oil, vinegar, spices, plastic wrap, dish soap - essentially everything you need to function. The patio is a beautiful place to have breakfast or dinner and the tables and sitting area have large umbrellas to raise when the sun is high. We were sad not to be able to use the grill because we were not there long enough, but the grill is useable and they have charcoal available for use, The washing machine does not also dry the clothes, as some European machines do, but there is a close line on the patio. Finally, the hosts are gracious and friendly. Alfio brought us pastries the morning after we arrived so we could enjoy a traditional Sicilian breakfast. He also gave us an Etna Maies magnet as a memento. That, in addition to the fruit basket, bread and milk that they provided made this a wonderful place for a complete stay near many important Etna wineries.
