Summary: Extremely friendly and helpful host. Arranging tours, taxis, currency exchanges for a good rate, helping out with sim card that was no longer working, lending out beach equipment free of charge, giving advise on restaurants and activities... She seemed genuinely happy to help with anything. Regarding the room: Clean and comfortable. Generator available in case of black outs. Breakfast and lunch were also great.

Summary: We got a new mattress which was great. Just ask. Our host was so nice and even taught us some Spanish. We had a delicious dinner at the house. There are also some restaurants in the town. Lovely beach close by. Great experience overall!!

Summary: We had a great time in Villa Eclipse. Damaris is an examplery hostess who was always there for us with her warm smile and at the same time she was discreet. She helped us to organize nearby excursions and she prepared a delicious breakfast using ingredients of high quality. The room and the whole property (the rooms are on the first floor, Damaris with her family live in the ground floor) were really clean and quiet at the end of a small road. The door and the windows of the room seamed a bit tricky to handle at first but after Damaris explained us, it was a piece of cake. The property has a lovely terrace where we could relax and enjoy the calmness of the place. We also experienced several hours of black out, but fortunately the property had a generator and there was always light. The beach and the restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend this place which is simple but had everything one needs for a relaxing stay in Playa Larga. We always felt safe and welcome and we really thank Damaris for this pleasant stay in her home. Mando and Christiana

Summary: Very nice place to stay and relax after Havana. Owners of the casa were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful area of Cuba for hikes and beach.

Summary: The room was clean and exactly as shown. All amenities worked well. The outdoor sitting area was spacious for eating, reading, playing board games (supplied). The hostess was welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived until we left 4 days later. Her meals were fabulous and well worth the price - especially breakfasts! A wonderful base to explore Playa Larga.

Summary: Villa Eclipse is in a quiet location and has good facilities. The villa is close to Playa Larga but Playa Caleton beach is much more beautifull and nicer with several small bars and eateries. Damaris is a great host and a great cook, friendly and very helpful. We had very good breakfast three times and a delicious dinner twice. A small disadvantage is the location of Villa Eclipse, a 15-minute walk to the nice beach Playa Caleton, but Damaris makes a visit to Villa Eclipse more than worthwhile
