Positive: Hospitality was superb and kind. The grounds were beautiful and impeccable. Room was clean and spacious with high ceilings. We had a studio and liked the size. We felt very safe in an authentic Italian environment. Property was in a little village area with tiny streets and a great cafe walking distance, Ambrosia Pasticceria (great coffee and pastries). The drive to Lucca was longer than I thought...maybe 20 minutes. We figured out how to park rental car outside the walled city of Lucca and pay a small fee in blue lined parking slots until 8pm (then it was free). Lucca is wonderful. Rent bikes that go along the top of the walled area that circles the town. The villa had free parking in a small attached area. Pool was open and lovely. No breakfast, which was our preference for this part of the trip. Recommend this clean and charming villa property with an authentic Italian host.

Positive: This accommodation was like staying in a movie . Beautiful grounds with pool and the room was lovingly decorated with antique style furnishings. I had the best sleep ever. Nescafé coffee machine in the room and small fridge which was useful

Negative: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. We didn’t realise how far away from Luca we were. It’s about a 20 min drive. Taxi costs about 40 euro one way. However there is a bus stop just outside the property which we used a few times to and from Lucca. The owners were so helpful with this.

Positive: We only spent one day at the property, but we immediately felt very comfortable. Daniela was extremely kind and gave us a warm welcome. The place is well-kept, cozy, and full of charm. It’s peaceful and perfect for relaxation, with beautiful surroundings. The pool was also very enjoyable – overall, our stay was short but truly delightful.
