THE DISTRICT
Ideal for those who love being in contact with the green, for those who want to isolate themselves from the chaotic city noise and breathe clean air. The place is cool and immersed in the calm and tranquility of the countryside where in the evening, in silence, it is possible to hear the sea, far from crowded streets, highways, railway stations. It is also possible to consume products grown in the soil surrounding the structure such as aubergines, tomatoes, onions, figs, lemons, loquats.
A TOUR IN THE SURROUNDINGS
Fiumefreddo Di Sicilia is well connected to the motorway (A18) for those who want to travel by car; for those who prefer to travel by public transport, there is both the railway station and the bus lines that connect the country to all the main tourist destinations that you wish to visit. Fiumefreddo di Sicilia is an excellent point to visit the main Ionian cities and archaeological sites: 10 minutes Taormina, 30 minutes Etna and Catania, 1 hour Siracusa and 2 hours Agrigento and the Scala dei Turchi. The ACCOMMODATION
The villa is composed of traditional Sicilian-style houses, all independent of one another.
Each house has a small garden, its own terrace equipped with table and chairs, and is composed of a double bedroom, an equipped kitchen, a large living room with a sofa bed and a private bathroom with shower.
It can accommodate 4 people, but there is also the possibility of putting an extra bed by arrangement.
Each structure also has a washing machine, drying rack, kitchen utensils, oven, refrigerator, hairdryer, barbecue, sheets and towels, air conditioning, wifi connection.
Inside the structure there is also a free private parking.

Summary: All that you need as a base for your holiday. A bit remote no amenities nearby which keeps it quiet. You cant beat waking up and having breakfast with Mt Etna in your back garden

Summary: There are 3 villas of sicilian style for rent. Host, Andrea, is very helpful and nice host - he showed us all the shops around, gave for free missing items, managed misunderstandings - we booked a villa with 2 bedrooms and were looking for a such, but there are no such villas at Andrea' yet (homeaway system presented it as 2 bedroom villa, which is not true). However we recommend to improve the bed - me and my son had neck problems. the view from our villa was perfect - Etna and gardens, other villas do not have such view. Town itself is nice with a lot of meat, fish, vegetable shops. Sea side is with small stones and rather chilly ( the name of town is translated as cold river), but we liked that. we travelled to Alcantara and did body rafting there, to Siracusa, to Etna, to Tormina. there is a villa from Godfather movie in the town (it is possible to eat there and go through guided tour) and nice cafes. We also met nice neighbors from the villa nearby and spent some time together.

Summary: If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in this area, do not look further. And when I say quiet, I mean absolutely quiet. Complete silence. Tucked away among citrus and orange trees, the place is miles away from the nearest highway or main road. The owner is extremely helpful. The apartment is well-equipped with kitchen (including oven) and good wifi internet. Very good value for money, highly recommended. Word of advice: bring some mosquito repellent cream along to keep mosquitos away - they can be annoying in the night.
