Positive: Everything! It is the most beautiful house, hosted by the most wonderful people, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfasts are absolutely delicious, you need nothing else until your evening meal. The beach is very close by as well as many excellent restaurants in the town or a short drive away. The perfect place to relax.

Positive: Honestly the best guest house I have ever stayed in. The hosts are the kindest people with so many great recommendations for places to visit and eat. The breakfast was delicious and they went above and beyond to cater for my husband who is celiac. The bed is also very comfortable as is the villa in general. I would recommend anybody thinking about staying here to book straight away!

Positive: Villa de la Luz was a relaxing, idyllic setting to base ourselves while exploring the area and a few locations in Portugal. Javier, our host, provided a 5 star service and was incredibly generous with his local knowledge, always attentive and helpful, providing recommendations for special places to visit and restaurants. The décor was gorgeous, bed linen perfection and the villa provided a range of areas to relax in. Our room was spacious with a large private terrace, overlooking the garden, pool and neighboring golf course. Each morning a delicious breakfast was served at a time that suited us, using local fresh produce. The table setting was stunning, and Javier was very accommodating and kind to share his exotic range of teas, since we weren’t coffee drinkers. It was all the little extras and attention to detail that made our stay special, such as the beach bag, towels and coolie bag Javier packed for us, as we set out to explore each day.

Positive: Villa de La Luz is exceptional. Breakfast was amazing with home cooked delicacies surprising us every morning. Our hosts had thought of everything and welcomed us into their beautiful home making us feel part of the family. The surrounding area has lots to offer for sightseeing and we were given amazing recommendations for restaurants. But when it’s too hot to sightsee then relaxing around the pool is the perfect antidote. We can’t thank you both enough for looking after us so well. We will be back!

Positive: The hosts - Javier and Gilles - really know how to impress. They are proud of their business and they should be. Wonderful accommodation, breakfast full of delicious food sourced locally and attention to detail that sets them apart. Warm, welcoming, helpful hosts who are aware of their guests and remember the detail. We loved our stay and recommend them highly. Positive: This was our favorite stay of our one month vacation. The hosts are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The degree and quality of their care was unmatched. Their property is an oasis of calm and natural beauty. It is pristine and immaculately cared for. The quality of the towels, soap, and above all the waterfall shower, only enhanced our relaxation. They provided bountiful breakfasts with many local ingredients from Huelva that not only only give you a taste of the province, but leave you satisfied until dinner time. When we would return from our daily excursions they would ask about our experiences and generously offered refreshments upon arrival. Gilles and Javier are cultured, sensitive, and deeply humane -- the very model of B&B hosts.
Negative: We only wished we could have stayed for a few more days. This is an experience to repeat and savor.
