Positive: We booked Villa Corfu Melody for a big family holiday to celebrate a 70th birthday. The villa was perfect to accommodate us all, with beautiful large bedrooms and great communal space. The apartment downstairs was fantastic for our young baby, as the separate kitchenette and lounge space enabled a prep/sterilising area and allowed night feeds without disturbing the rest of the family. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was changed throughout our stay, with fresh towels provided twice during the week. There were also dark shutters which could be closed over the outside of the windows/doors, and these were brilliant for keeping the bedrooms dark (so important with kids/babies). Every window and door had fly screens, with no rips or tears. The villa has everything you need with a well stocked kitchen and the welcome basket was a nice touch. The BBQ is good too. The outdoor space is just the right size, and the heated pool was greatly appreciated by the kids. The main pool area has plenty of seating options, in and out of the shade. The views are fantastic, and the breeze up the mountain was needed on the hotter days. The kids loved seeing all the bugs and butterflies that are in the gardens. There are also plenty of terraces/patios meaning you can have a different stunning view for every morning coffee. We liked the location, with Acharavi nearby for coffees and supermarkets, and Kassiopi a 15 minute drive for more restaurant options and tourist vibes/shops. There were plenty of beautiful beaches nearby too. We had two cars, and they were easily parked at the the villa. Finally, Spyros, the host was superb before and throughout our stay. He was so helpful when easyJet cancelled our flights and we had to rearrange dates. He was also very responsive and shared plenty of helpful links and information in the lead up to our stay. We can't recommend Villa Corfu Melody enough and hope to return one day! Thank you Spyros
Negative: Slight sewer smell in the downstairs apartment when it rained heavily, but opening the window cleared the smell.
