Positive: Our sea view suite was spacious and comfortable. We were unable to use our outdoor balcony due to concrete debris and dust everyday from reno's on the rooftop above us. The balcony furniture needs updating.

Negative: Management should have informed us that renovations were going on upstairs (rooftop) and next door during our stay. Restaurant needs a complete makeover - feels like you're in Grandma's kitchen. The swing doors from dining room through to the elevators need cleaning every day. The breakfast pastries were not fresh during our stay. Outdoor sitting area unwelcoming with rusty tables and chairs covered in dust. Had to ask for daily complimentary water and not once did they give us extra loo paper (just as well we travel with our own supply)

Summary: Not value for money. Paying top dollar for the location (sea view) - better value elsewhere closeby.

Positive: the location cant get better - absolutely delightful. The decor of the hotel was also very nice, cosy and of good taste. the staff were very helpful and genuinely hospitable. the size of my beach sea view room on ground floor was very good too. the general entry to the property and teh garden and area is very inviting and its very smart to have 2 entries to reduce some walk and increasing conmvinience to either side of the cities.

Negative: the interiors of the room had very nice furniture and taste however the stains on the upholstery etc should not be there the bathroom taps are in need for maintenance the breakfast area was very small and entirely missing the great sea view - rather closed set up .
