Positive: Lovely quiet villa far enough away but close to everything with great views. Host was amazingly helpful and responsive. Nice hot tub and clean pool.

Negative: Needed some additional kitchen utensils and crockery.

Positive: The property is stunning, extremely clean and well equipped. The host is wonderful and was incredibly helpful all the way through the stay, even saving us one evening with a bottle of wine for dinner when the local shop had shut!

Positive: My family and I had a fantastic stay in Villa Casa de Flores. Matija was a brilliant host and couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. He gave us great tips and recommendations on the tourist attractions, restaurants, and other amenties in the area. Any queries we had were always answered promptly. He left fresh towels for us midweek and made a last-minute reservation for us at a local restaurant. He was so welcoming, and we couldn't have asked for more from a host. The Villa was set in the most beautiful countryside and looked even better than the photos, which we didn't think was even possible! The views were stunning from every angle. It was such a tranquil setting, making it the perfect haven away from the hustle and bustle. The Villa itself had exceptional facilities, with lovely added extras like coffee pods for the coffee machine and essential condiments. The pool and hot tub were, of course, a huge hit. The Villa is located only 20 minutes from Dubrovnik Airport, which made getting there so easy. A car would be essential. The roads are quite windy but are lined and have good surfaces, making it very doable. A small, well stocked shop is located only a 5 minute walk away, and the nearby town Gruda is just 10 minutes drive, with more supermarkets, cafes, bars, and nice pizzeria. Dubrovnik is an easy day trip as it is only a drive from the Villa. However, we got a bus from Cavtat and parked in the town carpark instead, which worked perfectly. We had a brilliant holiday at Villa Casa des Flores and would return in a heartbeat. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Positive: We have just arrived back from our stay at the villa. Matija and his wife are brilliant hosts, when we first arrived Matija was there to greet us, with some bits to drink and eat, which was brilliant because of the late arrival. They were so friendly, we couldn’t have asked for more off a host. The villa is amazing, the quality of the building is brilliant, the photos don’t do it justice. The outdoor pool area had 4 sun lounges that were really comfortable, a sofa and parasol, was brilliant for the younger kids to sit in the shade. The pool itself was deep, but an adult could still stand up, what was really good for the kids tho, was a lip all the way around, so my youngest (6 years) could stand up at the edge of the pool. There is a dartboard outside, which my older two kids loved and a lazy spa under shelter in the outside area, which was a great added extra. There is also an outdoor table and chairs, so you can eat your breakfast, with an amazing view. The sun stays on the villa area until 7. Within the villa, there was a kitchen area, with a comfy sofa and Netflix’s on the Tv, so the kids were happy, with great WiFi . 3 double bedrooms, with really comfortable beds, I wished I had those beds at home. A bathroom area with a walk in shower and washing machine that was brilliant for washing clothes. While we were there for a week, the apartment was cleaned and sheets were changed, this was done while we were out which was brilliant. Close amenities and things to do, there is a supermarket 5 mins walk away, a larger one is a 10 min drive. We drove to Dubrovnik, and Matija managed to get us free parking, which was brilliant. Dubrovnik is definitely worth a visit. We also drove to Montenegro, about a 10 min drive to the boarder. We got a boat trip to the blue caves which was brilliant. Taking a car is advisable, it’s about a 20 mins drive from the airport.

Positive: well equipped house, quiet place and not far from the beach and the city of dubrovnik. The owner is charming, he welcomed us great and left us a couple of details such as branded coffee capsules, chocolates and fruit. 100 percent recommendable
