4 Bedroom Villa in Ciampino

The property is a former winery from the end of the 19th century, consisting of a villa, large terraces, a tavern obtained from the former wine cellar, all surrounded by a beautiful park with numerous finds and ruins of Roman walls, a 12 x 6 private swimming pool, a wood gazebo and a brick barbecue.
Inside the park, about 1.5 hectares, there is also a small timeworn spa complex dating back to ancient Rome, consisting of 3 rooms with perfectly preserved mosaic floors.
The villa is surrounded by a park of 1.5 hectares, where you can relax by taking a swim in the pool, playing football on the soccer field, or playing table tennis in the tavern.
In the garden next to the pool, there is a gazebo where you can eat surrounded by Roman relics, which will make your holiday truly unique.
On the first floor there are two large terraces where you can admire the magnificent sunsets, read a book while sipping good wine or dine immersed in silence.
The Villa is a 5-minute drive from the center of Ciampino.
Ciampino International Airport is 10 minutes by car (4 kilometers).
In the surrounding area there are three wonderful golf courses: Golf Fioranello 5 km away, Castel Gandolfo Country Club 7 km away and Circolo del Golf Roma Acquasanta wich is the oldest golf club in Italy and is only 20 minutes by car from the Villa.
In 8 minutes on foot you will reach the train stop which in 15 minutes will take you directly to Roma Termini station.
The lake of Castel Gandolfo is only 10 km from the villa.
The swimming pool is open from 15th May to 30th September.

As requested by italian law, upon check-in the guest will be requested to provide id document for any person hosted and will have to sign a rental agreement in italian.

For stays equal to or longer than 2 weeks, an additional cleaning fee of € 200 must be paid in cash at check-in.
Sofa bed in the studio will be set up only for 9 or 10 guests bookings.

Summary: We had a really lovely time staying in this very expansive villa. The pool was fantastic and enjoyed by us on a daily basis. Being near Rome allowed us to site see the capital a few times. Being so close to Ciampino and its shopping facilities was also a big plus. Donatella was a fantastic host, alwasy responding promptly to our queries.

Summary: I stayed here with 6 friends to go and watch WEG at Pratoni. It was a fab place to stay, lots of space and perfect for staying in and catering in the villa. You can go out to eat locally, it is about a 10 minute walk down a fairly busy road but there is a pavement. The house was very traditional Italian and we loved it, but for those who want modern and new its probably not for you.

Summary: This is a really great place. Very large, so large that we had too many choices or areas to sit in, inside as well as outside. All bedRooms are good but the airco are noisy, with a reoccurring hard sound. Outdoor a perfect place, great swimming pool, very large gardens, yes, several gardens and a football field as well as a trampoline. Plenty options for games for young and old as well as a great alfresco very large covered dining area with a large round table for 12 close to the bbq. Easy access to Rome, either by train 8 min walk away or by taking the metro from Anagnina, 10 min by car but exit at your chosen location in Rome center and service all evening whereas the train stops after 21. Friendly non intrusive Gardener /pool cleaner / service on site every day. Supermarket 5 min away. Several fridges and freezers available as well as plates, glasses and kitchen stuff enough for a restaurant, Absolutely value for your money. Would certainly recommend this place and would stay there again

Summary: Everything about this holiday was great! The property is huge and very clean . The pool was beautiful and the grounds were spacious well kept. Well situated - could walk to the train station to get into Rome easily , and could also walk to the supermarket easily. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful , responded quickly whenever we needed them. We opted for a brunch to be laid on by their cook and the food was incredible - enough food for 2-3 days ! Highly recommend this property ! It was perfect for us.
