Positive: It is a beautiful holiday home with outstanding views of the lake from the patio. It has a huge garden and it’s a super quick walk to the lake and nearby restaurants. It is a perfect place for families because there are some toys and games and a tv. We were really lucky to have a great host that recommended us some nice places to eat and was always in hand for any questions. The check in custodian Elena was so kind and helpful and really went above and beyond when we needed help with our bags and the baby’s buggy!

Negative: Can’t find a fault but if booking I would recommend renting a car, which we couldn’t do because of young babies

Positive: We had a wonderful family stay at Villa Bel Lago. Within easy reach from Rome and lots to see and do this was made for a great holiday. The villa was perfect, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you would need and the outside terrace and garden was great for morning coffee and late evening nightcaps. Arrival was very easy and were met by Elena who showed us where everything was and Elise our host was available on WhatsApp to give us some great pointers on restaurants and the area. The villa is very close (5 mins walk) from the shores of Lake Bracciano which is a great place for cool swims, pedalos and watersports. The villa is 5 mins drive from the town and a spectacular castle. The town also has many great restaurants and a lovely gelataria which got plenty of visits! All in all Villa Bel Lago is a beautiful property with a wonderful host that made for a great family holiday.
