Summary: Outstanding venue! Old, well-kept villa that was very nice and comfortable. Cocktails on the lawn patio. Shuttle to Venice was an unexpected treat. Restaurant was very good and the staff personable and helpful

Summary: We liked our stay at Villa Barbarich this August. The history, property and surrounding area are so peaceful! The staff were kind and helpful as well. The only negative was that we felt the carpet in the rooms was very worn and in need of replacement. The bathroom lighting was also very dim. Older eyes need better lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed the villa.

Summary: We loved the villa’s classic old world charm and modern amenities. Even though it’s not located directly in Venice, the free shuttle service makes it a great alternative at a reasonable price. The breakfast buffet was the best I’ve ever had during my travels in Europe, and dinner service was equally impressive. Our wait staff, Ilisa and Francesca, were professional, attentive and friendly. We’ll choose Villa Barbarich again for our next visit to Venice.

Summary: The 2 staff at reception were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Above and beyond what was expected. My only complaint was that the pool wasn’t open, which was one of the main reasons I booked this hotel. Apparently it doesn’t open until May.
