Positive: The welcome from the owner John late in the evening couldn't have been warmer, and he showed us to our villa and its facilities with great pride, as he had built it and the others. Everything we needed was on hand and provided with the emphasis on natural materials to echo tradition and blend in the landscape. The outside private pool was beautiful, especially lit up and glowing turquoise at night. The breakfast/restaurant area was gorgeous and it's placement and the view of their inner lake and it's birdlife and lotus/water lilies was stunning. The warmth and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. It was so lovely that we wanted to stay for at least an extra day, but they were already booked up. Thale Noi Lake is the draw for the area, but do go and visit the botanical Gardens too. Free to enter with very willing guides and a good nature walk.

Negative: There wasn't anything we didn't like as we had a car and some form of transport would make life a lot easier, although there are probably taxis to be had to go to Thale Noi Lake and village/town

Positive: A small boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. We had two villas next to each other that shared a pool. Everything was top notch. A bonus: the owner was at breakfast making superb pour over coffee.
